Staff were less than pleased to help and for a bunch of travellers the people who were staying there were the most unfriendly group we've met in 2 months. We also avoided the kitchen at all costs as it was full of flies and didn't look or smell like it had been cleaned in months. On the plus side it was near the lagoon and the room (private double) had a good tellie and air con.

I loved this hostel! Was one of the nicest ones i have stayed at! There could be more security like lockers in room or something because i heard of peoples things getting stolen! Other than that it was a great location right across from the lagoon and right on the main strip. Would definately recommend it!

No free internet, and an incredibly slow, inefficient check-in process. They make everyone wait untll two and then there is an incrdedibly long wait to check in. The employee took two phone calls during our check in process. The bathroom stunk like urine and there were no lockers. But the room was clean and it was a nice setting.

Nice facilities, good tourist information, excellent place to stay in airlie beach (by the regulation of the place you cant bring your own alcohol, but they are not so strict about that rule)

Good to have ensuite in the dorms, was clean. The kitchen is too busy, barely enough space to put your food in the fridge, glad there were some cheap restaurants around... No lockers. The bar opens late and the free BBQ is hot dogs only. The staff were nice, but reception is often very crowded.

Its across from the Lagoon, and its right on the strip. Its just too nickel and dimey for my tastes. Everything is extra at this place. But you do get a $5 meal every night to purchase if you wish.

Kitchen was always silly dirty except for early in the morning and dishes were rarely clean. Otherwise, everything else was excellent! I very much enjoyed my stay :)

Too bad lugage storage was charged for if you'd go away on a trip. Also lugage storage was open so often everybody could potentially walk in, therefore I did not store my lugage at Nomads. Rooms were clean and there was a nice movienight when I was there.

I got recommended to stay here whilst I was in Airlie Beach, its not a bad hostel, the rooms (I was in a newer one) were great, so much space and everything was very clean! The issue I had was with the security of the luggage storage which was meant to open every 30mins but it seemed to be open whenever I walked past it!

Room and bathroom are big, comfortable and clean, but last night I found a cockroach. Poor security. No lockers in the room. There are lockers at the reception but you have to pay. Otherwise you can leave your staff in a luggage deposit that they open every 30 minutes, but I often found it open without anyone caring about it. Reception cleses at 9pm but a secondary entrance is always open and anyone can come in.Lot of activities (like free BBQ). Good location. Music and noise till late.

New, big and busy hostel. Don't like that they charge additional money for the use of the storage room! The room was open the whole day, so what was the money for?

Very Nice hostel. Nice staff. Nice rooms, like littls bungalow houses. Very good. And clean.

A really good hostel, very clean, very lively (but still quiet enough that you can get some peace when you want it), a lot of friendly people around. Definitely one of, if not then the best, hostel in Airlie Beach.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay was had here. The knowledgeable staff aided my travel plans and the friendly bar staff ensured my time there was pleasant. Perhaps room checks would be a nice simple way of making sure louts don't disrupt the peaceful atmosphere by getting wasted in their dorm rooms.
