A good hostel in a good location, I can recommend others in that respect. I did however find the pricing a little steep (I had a charge for using my debit card at the hostel so one night was 29 dollars instead of 26). Apart from that it was a little noisy at night from the bars, and the rooms do get a little hot in the mornings. But I did enjoy my stay and met loads of great people there!

The receptionist I spoke to on the first day was great and she refunded me one of the days which was great! Its a shame you have to pay for wifi but you do anywhere so it sometimes has to be done. I had a great time and slept well thank you

The hostel is not so bad but a room without window is a disappointing considering the price. However this hostel lands within the average solutions.

I stayed in a basic double private room. It was fine if you want a break from dorms for a night but the basic rooms don't have windows so they're a bit bleak and the room was also really hot. Otherwise, it was clean, the hostel facilities are good and the staff were helpful. Location is really good.

Location is perfect, Staff was attentive and professional, its a very big hostel, so kitchen is usually very busy, and people just doesn´t clean their mess properly, but it was cleaned several times a day . Bathrooms are not too bad, but I didn´t see them being cleaned during the day. Size of the rooms is ok, but I stayed in 3 and some don´t have windows, or even if they do, as there is no ventilation, they allways smell a lot. Comparing to other hostels, thats the one I will stay when Im back.

I thought this hostel was very dirty. There was trash everywhere, the showers were gross, and my bed was broken. The location is good in terms that it is right down town, however it is SURROUNDED by strip bars....when we came in late that night it seemed pretty sketchy. The atmosphere was great if you are a young kid who wants to party but that wasn't necessarily us. They have a lot of facilities but overall this was not my favorite hostel at all.

The staff need customer service training. I was served by a member of staff who appeared very rude when checking me. Bad body language, engagement, eye contact, tone and attitude.

The staff were amazing esp for how busy they were, the guy on reception when I just wanted to ask about something was juggling about 10 things but still more than happy to help and was really poilte. The facilies were as expected for a large hostel, nothing special but I expected no more. I was not expecting really loud and thumping bass from the night club all night. The room was fine but 2 expensive for the lack of sleep! Very close to shops, restaurants, ferry and airport links

Great location in the centre of Auckland. Staff could be more helpful but other than that a good place to stay with a big kitchen

I could hear the bar from my room and it was so loud we had to shut the window which meant it was really hot in the room. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Really great place to stay! I loved the rooftop terrace, the bar/restaurant attached, and the drink deals. It was disappointing that the hot tub wasn't hot, and it was impossible to sleep until the loud music from a nearby club stopped. Other than that the place was great and right in the middle of everything. Would stay again!

Internet is not free, need to sign up for a membership! Good if you wanna party. If you want to get a good nights sleep it's not for you.

Quite loud in rooms as right next to loud bar. The front door buzzer didn't work, so I waited outside at 1.30am for a while until luckily a person staying at the hostel came along. Front desk guy friendly and helpful and bed comfortable
