the rooms are pretty nice as well as new and the ensuite bathroom really clean. The kitchen on the other hand was tiny and not really clean. The common area is very small as well and the TV lounge is right next to the kitchen and its not really a relaxed area as many people walk through. Voucher for a snack at the bar next door is a very nice surprise!

Great location, beds were quite uncomfortable and loud everytime you moved. Ensuite bathroom was a plus. Would recommend this hostel to others, just hope you get a better bed than I had!

Sink and shower not draining properly and extremely noisy bunk beds. It's funny if you are in a group and laugh to see how can be in the bed more than 5 minutes without giving a creacking concert, but if you are sharing a room with unknown people it may be quite annoying. Location is the best point, and generally clean. Nice and helpful staff.

bathrooms were generally flooding from the showers, had to pay for an extra item such as a towel or internet, staff was really friendly and helpful. Beds where extremely creaky and hard to sleep at night, the room was stuffy with hardly any ventilation.

Huge, so you wont feel like your treated as an individual and the staff wont have much time for you. Apart from that, brilliant.

Staff at the front desks were great! Free evening meals were good, always had drink deals! The only down side was the noisy doors.

Clean, modern, safe, in an excellent location. Comfy beds. Bar with cheap drinks next to it. Massive hostel with fairly small rooms, no space for luggage in room. Can be very noisy!!

Upon Checking in, the Receptionist on duty was very rude -Telling me that I should go find someone to get my suitcase up the stairs. For a hostel that size, there should be some sort of a ramp style facility for getting baggages up to the hostel considering they are located on the 3rd floor.(hostels in Europe have it) Otherwise, everything else was just fine.

The hostel has a very corporate, impersonal feel to it. I was especially unhappy when they overcharged me, and it took three days to get it sorted out.

The hostel was good. We stayed in a 10 person dorm so we got what we paid for (the guy next to me snored like a beast.) Bathrooms are clean. The staff are great; very welcoming and helpful. If you stay here, you have to check out the bar next door (Blend) and talk to the bar staff. They're awesome people and made our stay here a lot more fun! We'd definitely go back.

I have already completed a survey so no idea why I am being asked again. Maybe I complete the last one so impressively that you want to check I could do it again?

Nothing really.. The service, the hostel, the room were beyond expectations, meaning you get more of what you paid for. Staffs were helpfuL & accomodating... Location is very walking distance to everything.

The hostel is very good at all. I feel instead of free evening meal, Morning breakfast like bread jam butter is more suitable to start a day. it is in practice in christchurch and most loved by the backpackers. Otherwise i like the meal every time as a evenning snack.

The concierge gave us a more expensive room for the same price when there was an issue with our reservation, and all of the staff were immensely helpful with day-to-day issues as well as additional travel bookings.
