I had quite a good stay at this hostel, no big issues and they guys I shared my room with were nice. I would say that the bunks maybe need to be tighened or something because they sqeaked like crazy, so much so we were all having trouble sleeping. The staff were nice enough but a bit brisk. There were no lockers to speak of which in a large hostel like this is a bit of a worry though with the cards to get in the doors made you feel moderately safe about your stuff.

Good hostel with good facilities and easy to meet people. But think I was unfortunate with my room, was a 12 bed dorm, was filthy, hot and stuffy. Two girls had complained about bed bugs in bunk opposite mine, I thought they were exaggerating a bit but on my last night I got very badly bitten myself. Avoiding Nomads for a while...

Not value for you money! This place was over priced, the Kitchen was too small&filthy and didin't have proper pots and pans. Oh, And the Manager was a really rude and he created bad atmosphere among the other staff members. Besides the great location, I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone..You can find way better hostels in Wellington..

was a short and sweet stay but all I needed was a bed to lay my head for the night so was excellent really. Didnt have to go to the huge expense of a motel room as it was only to crash out then go to a meeting for the day. Thank you first time ive stayed at a backpackers, was cool.

Excellent location, very helpful staff (most), nice bar next door with free snacks every night and discounts for beer. Good facilities except for the very noisy bunks and the wi-fi not working on most rooms.

The location is great, everything else was fine though the room was a bit too small to contain four people (a 4-bed dorm) and their luggage.

I'd stayed there before, so had pretty high expectations that weren't completely met. The corridors were smelly and the room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. When the cleaners came to pick up the trash they asked us whether the bathroom needs cleaning. The way I see it, it's something they should do every single day regardless of what we say. Maybe they were feeling lazy...

Beds cheap and noisy, no space for backpacks and no furniture in room, used kondome in toilet, water in shower didn't flow off, pigeon in the kitchen, kitchen small and dirty

This was a nice hostel that was close to a lot of sights and shopping. Security and cleanliness weren't 100%, but the hostel had everything I needed.

WiFi was acting up for a good part of it, would actually say its not worth purchasing Global Gossip, especially as Wellington offers free WiFi. It would take about 10 mins for Facebook to load on the Global Gossip network while less than a minute on the free WiFi.

It can be a bit loud sometimes because of the bar, but other than that it's quite awesome.

Rooms were okay, bunk beds had more head room than any bunk bed I have ever seen in my life, but there were good.

Not a bad place to stay, and pretty central to the good bits of Welly. Would recommend.

Nice hostel and really nice staff. We've even been upgraded for the same price in a 4 beds dorm. Nice and clean. Would recommend this hostel!
