In auckland for buisiness. wanted reasonably priced place close to town. was in a 4 bed dorm. totally unprepared for 20 people party in kitchen/lounge, dorm door banging open at all hours,MAJOR traffic noise all night, strange smoke wafting into room. No sleep-shattered!! My fault for trying to be cheap arse. Would pay extra next time for a bit of peace and quiet, It was a Wednesday. Ok for teens and 20's but not for the more mature. Word of advice from staff would've been listened to. A mistake was made on our booking and we were given a double bed instead of a twin so we spent an unwanted night in a dorm. Although we had paid in full we were locked out of our room and told that we hadnt paid. Booked a 4 bed dorm, got given an 8 bed dorm, there were no blinds in the bedroom so light pouring through, pillows were virtually non existant, slats missing from bottom of bunks. Overall disgusting.
