Nomads is definitely the hot spot to stay in Queenstown. The staff are very energetic, as are the travellers who stay there. The facilities are clean and secure. The only knock on Nomads is that its prime location above the bars of Queenstown can lead to a difficult time sleeping if you choose to hit the sack before the 4am closing time.

Awesome location room was really nice and clean! We stayed in a delux ensuite so didn't use communal facilities but they looked amazing! Staff were all friendly and helpful!

The best hostel I've ever stayed in! When I first arrived, they had placed me in a room with 7 boys. This made me feel a little uncomfortable and they gladly upgraded me to the female dorm with an en suite free of charge! While the female dorms can fit 6 people, we only ever had 4 people in the dorm at one time. There are so many great this I could say about this place and I recommend it to everyone! Definitely coming back again soon!

This hostel was the best i have ever stayed in. The people are great, it is such a social place. I had a great time!! The staff are very helpful and so friendly. The hostel itself is veeeeerrrry clean, safe and in a perfect location. I have extended my stay here for a few weeks now. I love it in Queenstown and this is the best place to stay!!

This is by far the best hostel I have stayed in while I have been in New Zealand. The free food is pretty good and the fact you can drink in the kitchen area was a welcome change from most. The only complaint is the cleaning staff who come in very early, make lots of noise and often don't actually knock before entering. I was in fact caught in my underwear by the hoovering guy who throught it fine just to carry on hoovering around me... Overall though loved it!

Really enjoyed my stay at Nomads. The free touches, breakfast and dinner (small but tasty) were a great addition. Staff were really friendly and helpful and found it easy to meet new people even though I was travelling by myself. Will be back again.

Nomads is a great hostel to stay because everything you want is there. Great location, modern facilities, clean, friendly staff and a fantastic social atmosphere. Free breakfast (toast) and free dinners (note they are very basic and not particularly tasty) are a nice touch and encourage people to socialise. They also allow consumption of your own alcohol on their premises until 9pm which is a great way to save money and meet fellow travellers. I would strongly recommend staying there!

The hostel itself is big, clean and has good facilities. The cinema room in particular is a great idea, however (especially before 9pm) it was too loud outside the room to actually be able to hear the films. Be warned: this is very much a party hostel, full of young students, and not for familes. The dorm that I was in backed on to a busy bar, and one one of the nights I stayed there was very load music until 5am, making sleep virtually impossible. On that basis I wouldn't recommend the hostel.

Excellent hostel. The double rooms are pretty much the standard of a decent hotel. Highly recommended.

Sink in twin ensuite room was tiny! Only possible to wash hands. Impossible to brush teeth or wash face. Shower door didn't keep water in so floor was always wet even w/ the best preventative measures. Extremely loud voices and partying starting at 11:00pm and going until the wee hours of the night. Good location and very helpful excursion agent. Free internet a bonus.

Well, Its was the perfect place. I've never seen such a place. It's huge but so well organized. I stayed in a 8 bed dormitory, but It was clean. The staff is quite nice too. The location is also perfect. Right in the center of queenstown.

I enjoyed my stay and everything, and the place was lovely, but i have to be honest with you, there were some things that I really didn't like. The big one was the shared balconies. Having a shared balcony means you lose both privacy and security. An opaque divider to separate the balcony in two would have allowed me to leave my door open whenever I left the room, or my curtain open while I was there- and all with a feeling of comfort. I'd prefer to have this than a larger shared balcony.

Great place to stay. Free Breakfast AND dinner for the win! Made great use of the sauna and cinema room. If there was free wifi, we would never leave!! Great hook-ups with places to eat, places to drink and things to do.
