Loved that there were free meals. The private room we stayed in was better than a hotel! Thanks for the stay!

it is a really nice hostel and i think you get a lot of thinks for the money you pay. its not one of the cheapest hostels, but compared to other ones in town you get much more thinks, like a free breakfast and a free dinner (which is actually really good :D ) the staff is really nice and always friendly and helpful and everyone is trying their best to make you happy. so i can definitely recommend this hostel.

Nomads Queenstown is in a great location, spacious and clean. However, it is a very large hostel, which makes it a big impersonal. Also, If you are more than 5 min late to free dinner, you will not get any food. And free breakfast consisted of bread and butter (once again, do not be late). Overall, the staff were fabulous and friendly, except for the red haired irish girl at the front desk, she was very negative and spoke down to backpackers. She should be replaced by a happy backpacker! :)

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was excellent and hostel was clean and well equipped. It was huge and good place if you like young people who like to party. Little bit loud at weekend nights because there was bar next to our balcony.

The location of Nomads is excellent, but some design features of the hostel are undesirable. In particular, the shared balconies on the allegedly private rooms means you are completely unable to escape your (often loud and late night) neighbours who can look directly into your room if you don't close it up completely to the outside world. The kitchen wasn't very clean and was really small, but bonus points for the super cute dog.

The kitchen facilities were filthy! And it's not like the staff didn't know, half the time it was the staff who caused the mess and never cleaned it up.

We were really impressive with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the location of the property, quite near the lake. . The REALLY annoying thing was your air conditioning. In our bedroom - 3rd Floor - King Size Bed - there were two outlet points on the wall, one of which blew directly into my face all the time. This was particularly annoying at night time, when it was hard to sleep as it made you gasp for breath. All we could do was fit a square of cardboard over it with blue tack

Hostel is amazing and perhaps one of the top hostels I have ever stayed at. Although I stayed in a double, the facility and amenities were amazing, especially the guys working at the travel desk. The beds were clean, the bathrooms were shinning and who else gives free dinners, that is right a 'FREE DINNER.' It is located in a great location and has a feel of a cottage. I was really impressed with the service. Keep it up.
