Definitely a party hostel, the common room is always full of people and the staff always have things planned for us to do, and even though they're mostly long-term residents, they're super friendly and always including you in what they're doing! It's a bit hit and miss with the rooms, but that mostly depends on whether the air conditioning works in your room or not!

I had a thoroughly fantastic stay...The staff wee so very helpful. The location was better than the best..Transport was fantastic. I can't believe how clean the rooms were! Nothing was too much for the staff! Great activities, the only negative was that one elevator was broken but the reception kept us busy!!!!!! Great stay

Only one lift out of two was working (I was there for a week in the 12 floor), just a few people cleaned their dishes, it was always very hot in the kitchen, many people steal food from other cool bags, staff was really friendly and helpful - all in all was it a great stay in Sydney

We had a four bed doorm and the room was really small. The aircondition didn't work and you couldn't open any windows.. It also smelled like mold. The kitchen was also one of the worst i've been to.

I really enjoyed the daily FREE activities, the entertainment guy was really nice, and easy to chat too. I loved the free food and goon he gave us too! The reception staff where really welcoming, and seem to be enjoying there work, especially the kiwi bro!!!! Level one is fun, love the bean bags!! And a great place to meet new people, the kitchens not bad either lol as backpackers go ;) clean rooms too, compared to others in Sydney CBD. Cool as Bro!!!!

Train your receptionists to be able to deal with simple requests, and improve their customer service skills. Rooms REALLY shabby and smell of mould, worst hostel stayed at in Australia. Hot water wasn't working - paid for an ensuite, couldn't use the shower. Mentioned this to reception on check out, the only response we got in a stroppy voice was 'yeah my shower was cold too this morning'. As far as I'm aware your receptionist didn't pay for her room, so I really don't care if her's was cold!

I arrived for checkin at 2 & the queue was so long that I didnt even get checked in until just after 2.30 although I was irritated the staff were extremely friendly & helpful that I forgot about my initial anger. My room was pretty basic but I can't complain it was clean. Amazing activities each night, this is definitely the place to meet people and have a good time!

Extremely rude staff, implied I was a liar on two occasions. Toilets were the worst Iv ever seen (and smelt) and "cleaning" them was simply unblocking them and maybe adding some toilet roll. the worst staff I have ever come across staying in a hostel, and I have stayed in many across the world!! I hated this hostel, and have already diverted people away from staying there. The guy in charge of entertainment, Chris, was nice but thats it. I left here feeling disrespected and extremely angry

The price of the rooms depends on how lucky you are. You can get the best room on the lowest price. The location is good and the hostel is also good, but I think there is too much advertisment for what it can offer

Elevator rarely if ever working,as well as a broken window in the bathroom of dorm room.Probably the worst hostel ive stayed in by some distance in Australia.Location is its only saving grace which is probabably why it is in such a state of disrepair.

Great place to party! Always cool people around ( I stayed round NY). Rooms are dirty, old and full of mold. Kitchen should be cleaned more often and there should be more plates, cutleries and mugs.Hostel staff is friendly ;-)

Did not like this hostel, it was FILTHY, in poor condition, not very well equipped- the kitchen had 4 working hobs that was designed for 13 floors, two mugs and no cleaning products! Bed bugs were found in the room and staff didnt have a helpful attitude towards dealing with the problem! Wouldnt stay again! Dont recommend staying here

This wasn't the best hostel to have stayed in over Christmas. All of the staff are friendly and there are a lot of activities on a daily basis but all 90% are getting pissed. If you want a party hostel then this is the place for you. The rroms, kitchen and lounge area weren't very clean and could have been cleaned more often. The room was far too small for six beds.

We booked dates for Dec 16th however there seemed to have been some mix up as our confirmation email confirmed that the dates we booked were for Nov 16th! After many attempts to get in touch with both Hostelworld and Nomads Westend backpackers through email and phone we never received any reply or feedback from either company's. I am very disappointed with the poor service from both party's and will not be recommending your service. However it is not to late to remedy the problem.

dirty place in all aspects.the room was way too small for 6 beds, the bathroom was just a big mess..broken bathroomdoor, noisy airconditioning,so small that you could hardly move. The kitchen is average equiped but you should bring your own cuttlery, otherwise you could end up eating your soup with a fork.i had to sleep on the worse matress i ve ever slept during my 13 months backpacking in australia. woke up a few times because my back got really sore.never.Nomads- never again!!!!
