Good hostel as very central, clean and modern. Good on the security with lockers in rooms (need own lock), plus security on doors is so good that 5 mins before check-out, your keycard doesn't work on your room anymore! Only go there on a friday or saturday night if you intend to go out and not if you want an early night. Loud music from the bar next door infiltrates to all rooms until closing time.

All I'll say is that there seemed to be a semen like substance on my duvet. Nasty. The lockers were more like medicine cabinets and had no locks for them, you were to bring your own!!! We stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm and when we arrived there was nowhere for us to put our bags all the space was taken even though there was only 4 people in the room so far!! Not a nice experience so we only stayed the one night.

One of the better Wellington hostels. Good location. Not too noisy for a hostel of its size. The free meal in the attached bar is small but you can upgrade for only a few dollars more so still great value. And they have good drink deals.

could provide locks for the security lockers because theyre not much use if you've come without a lock.

Very cool place to stay! Have never stayed in a hostel before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals and bar were wicked!!! loved the 2 for 1 house spirits!! The staff were obviously travelers so some couldn't give that much help with wellington things to do/see.

The only real problem in the hostel ws staffing. There only ever seemed to be one person manning reception, even at check out time, which meant you usually had to wait for ages before you could speak to someone. The staff were good but the wait was too long.

we stayed for three nights and on two different floors. the second floor was really nice clean bathrooms and nice room while the first floor was dirty. the bathroom was flooded and not cleaned.you could hear the music from the bar on the up side the free meals were lovely, they advertised special offers but never mentioned them when you checked in but you had to ask for the deals advertised on a blackboard metres from the reception desk.

I was only meant to stay 1night, but i had so much fun that i stayed another! Staff are great fun &really friendly.
The free meal is more like a snack, but you can upgrade for a fullsize meal for really cheaply, which is cheaper than what you could cook for.
Really close to the museum, town&bus stop.
Would DEFINATELY recommend this.

A fantastic hostel, more like a hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were lovely and spotless, I wish all hostels were like this.

Most of your staff were extremely helpful, but one lady was very rude to us, not good service at all. However, we enjoyed the meals provided, and had a fairly comfortable stay. Cheers
