I stood in a standart double room with bathroom. Matress on the bottom, mosquito net, no blanket, no toilet paper, no fan or AC. Daily wake up call by monkeys running on the roof top. Good pancakes for breakfast, friendly staffs.

The homestay is gorgeous, the location besides the river is enchanting, the other guests were friendly but unless you book your jungle trek with Nora don't expect any pleasantries, help or friendliness from her. All in all the place was great but would have been far better without Nora. I moved after two days to Batu Mandi homestay, which I would thoroughly recommend on every level.

Great hostel-guest house. The location is not too far from centre (10min walk) Staff were brilliant, very friendly, very helpful. The restaurant served great banana pancakes for breakfast and good value food for rest of day. Sound of monkeys running along the rooftops added to the sense of adventure. Overall one of the best places to stay in Bukit Lawang. Highly recommend

The staff is what makes this place so awesome!! They love to sit and chat with you, play guitar and sing, and make your time in Bukit Lawang enjoyable! We booked an overnight jungle trek through the homestay and I would highly recommend that as well...they take such good care of you! The food is awesome and it's a great place to chill out!
