No lock on the door, massive holes in the mosquito nets, and the bathroom didn't have a sink. One of the girls staying there was alone for one night and someone tried to break into her room at three in the morning and when she told the owner she was told that 'it was her fault for talking to local guys'
It was a fantastic place to stay. Amazing surroundings and great value for money. We loved being there.
Its ok. Its pretty much just a mattress on the floor with a mosquito net. Not very clean. The toilet/shower room was pretty smelly. They arranged transport for me from Medan which was 5 hours late. They are very pushy with organising treks. As soon you arrive they try to get you to book one through them at over inflated prices. I got one offered to me for 900,000 and pushed really hard to get it down to 300,000. On the 1 day trek I saw over 20 orangutans.
very familiar atmosphere, the best choice for a jungle feeling, excellent guides for a jungle trip
