A bit far up Nevsky for what i wanted to do, but if you want the Hermitage/Neva/Peter and Paul, it\'s a perfect location. Security is pretty much prison-tight. The place is clean and has a lot of character, with a nice little balcony and kitchen. The staff are however the highlight, really helpful and if you stop here as a newbie in Russia you\'ll be pleasantly surprised to find out that the Russians really aren\'t all surly and aggressive! This hostel is expensive. It's filthy. It has no common area. Worst of all there are bed bugs that bite people atnight. Many people are covered with terrible red spots all over their upper bodiees.
