Great place to stay. Located in a good area, close to the shopping centres, bars, supermarket etc. Staff very helpful also.

It's a great hostel, but it lacks a couple of things a backpacker might be looking for, first of all, it's one of the best located and cheapest hostels around, but it does not have lockers (just some small drawers that you can use with a padlock), it's really close to one of the best zones for partying and eating in Bogotá (but for some reason, one of the guys just sent me to fast food sites, but there are definitely a lot of better options).

The guys running this place are awesome. It is in a great location, safe and secure. There is a great courtyard and the common areas are super. It took me awhile to figure out how to get the shower temp just right but that probably will not be an issue for anyone with a brain. Thgere is a great pizza place next door, delicious and cheap. The nightlife is right up the street and is also safe and fun. The buses go everywhere for 75 cents. Andy, Oscar and Brooks, thanks for the best time !!!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. Andy and Oscar were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were good and the location was fabulous. With San Martin University across the street there were always people around and lots of good places to eat.

Andy and Oscar were great. Would highly recommend the North House to anyone looking to travel to Bogota. Great people, great location.

Andy and Oscar made me feel at home they are wonderful. Being able to have hot water for showers was great. Fantastic location with plenty of things to do in The area. Make sure you try the pizza next door. Next time I am in bogota I will stay at north house again

The hostel said it had airport transfer facilities , they never acknowledged my request for one !! And whoever washed my clothes let the colours run so that damaged half of them !! These are probably the reasons why I rate it very very poor
