Good hostel and located centrally. Only issue was the live band playing til 1am right underneath my room while me and the other girl in my room were trying to sleep... Would have been better to have the band start playing a bit earlier so they could finish earlier!

I live locally to Cardiff, yet I'm a regular visitor to the Nos Da. Cardiff rocks! So I prefer to stay over whenever I've got something on in the city as it gives me an excuse to try the awesome bars and restaurants we have there. I'm into budget accommodation in a big way and I've tried all the Travelodges and Premier Inns in the city centre. However the Nos Da is the place I'd choose over the others every time. Great atmosphere, cool bar, helpful staff. You've got to stay here!!!!

A few locks on the access doors are not working. These are for one or two internal doors. However, it does not affect the overall security but if they are repaired that will be excellent.

A nice stay, a bit quiet when we were there just before xmas. Lovely bar and very friendly staff. Bit disapointed in how underequipt the kitchen was though. No way of cooking anything more complicated than a pot noodle or microwave dinner.

Best hostel I have stayed in to this day...It was like a hotel, but much much cheaper and a lot more fun! Staff and rooms are wonderful and character of the hostel is the best I've experienced.

Really nice hostel, close to the castle and centre of Cardiff, right next the the Millennium Stadium. Great living areas, kitchen was a little small but other than that really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend

Some more drink specials on weekends or events would have made it more fun

I was wad very impressed by all aspects of NosDa ..The ensuite room was very spacious and comfortable and had a great view of The Millennium Stadium and part of the castle right across the river .I really liked the help oneself eat as much as you like breakfast , I had orange juice , a large bowl of muselli, six rounds of toast butter n marmalade washed down with three black coffees. There was a choice of three breakfast cereals and three spreads, breads , tea / coffee..We shall certainly be back

Fantastic staff and great atmosphere. Could be a little cleaner (little things like broken shower curtain etc).

Really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and of good size. Don't have any complaints. Will definately stay here again if I am ever in Wales.

The location in Cardiff really can't be beat. If you are traveling solo, and want to meet fellow travelers and locals, this is the place for you. It can be a bit noisy, so if you're looking for a super quiet place, either ask for a room on the upper floor, or find somewhere else. The showers are tiny, and only have scalding hot water, so my experiences were short and unpleasant....hopefully that will be looked into. Overall, great hostel.

In terms of hostels this one was a nice one, but the trash bins (in the women's toilets, at least), were overflowing the whole time, and it was so incredibly hot in all the rooms/hallways. Most of the staff was nice, and the continental breakfast was great.

Good location near Central. Showers have no temperature control and were way too hot.
