I really liked this hostel, clean, good location and friendly staff. The only downside for me was that my bed was extremely uncomfortable and when the person in the bed above me moved the creaking was really loud.

This is a very chill place, and a good base from which to explore the rest of Cardiff. The staff is particularly helpful and friendly. The bar and interior lounge are spacious, the beds are decent, with very well-maintained and clean bathrooms. There's the odd rule against bringing in alcohol to the common area, but when in Rome...Socially it seems most people tend to sleep here and don't really hang out in the hostel environment. For the price, I would strongly recommend staying here.

Very nice hostel with nice rooms in a superb location. The only complaint I would have is that the room was very hot, even though it was quite cold outside.

Very cosy hostel. The bar and the atmosphere it provided were amazing. One night there was even live music! The common spaces of the hostel were very nice and the 4 people private room was also very good. Staff was helpful and polite. The only "but" I have is for the room we left our bags to wait for the check in, where they were unattended and with no control at all. But I would definitely stay there again.

Nice location and clean rooms, big cosy bar! Perfect place for a short visit to Cardiff! The city is very small, you have seen it alle in two days.

Everything is good, only 2 matters are that the shower water cannot beling adhust the degree, it is extremely hot water. Beside, there has no air circulation in the bath room that makes people feel uncomfortable while showering,

Very good location and good welcome. Great to have breakfast included as well. Spacious room (but tiny ensuite toilet and shower rooms). Coin operated washing machine and dryer always a welcome sight when travelling. Very good also was the limited library of books, board games and free parking at rear.

A small hint of the car park behind the hostel would be easier to avoid any parking tickets. Otherwise you might just think, the parking area in front of the hotel building would work, but it doesn`t. To offer guests breakfast (in a hostel!) is great! The possibility for free use of the internet is just very kind!

It's very close to Cardiff Central train station and also to the Cardiff Castle and the City Center. The outside door had a broken glass, so it was the only bad thing I could see about the hostel. Other than that it was pretty good.

Really helpful staff when making the booking and offered useful suggestions. Gave me a real piece of mind that we'd get what I booked and they didn't fail to deliver. Seems very well run especially given the number of people they can (and were) accommodating. If you're looking to go into Cardiff city centre, the location is ideal.

Noise was a bit of a problem. My room was right above a room that for the first few nights was occupied by a group of middle school kids... it sounded like elmephants were rearranging furniture until about 1 in the one in the morning! But, the rest of the stay was quite nice, if only for the noise.
