Good location, nice and helpful stuff. Special atmosphere. Just that we needed to share bathroom with others in the morning took quite a time to get a shower as it was taken. But for such price and location - recommended.

Good things: great location (literally across the street from the medieval city and a 10 minute straight shot into town), and very clean. Not so good things: poor internet connection, not a very outgoing and helpful staff, and the long, dark, and quiet corridors are kind of creepy at night. But unless you're willing to pay a lot more money to stay in Carcassonne, this place is your best bet. I guess you get what you pay for.

Runned by nuns, super clean and tidy.

Localização é muito boa, só atravessar a rua e já está na cidade medieval, quartos individuais e seguro. Agora quando chegar no hostel, empurre a porta, fui bater e o cara lá veio falar merda.. hehe Recomendo.

Omg from the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was one of the most scariest experiences of my life....EVER! We arrived around 7pm so it had just got dark, we arrived to a huge, pretty much empty abbey, that was filled of darkness and eeriness! Half of the lights didnt even work, we seemed to walk for an eternity to get to our room, and long story short we left at about 11pm to stay at the nearby ibis hotel! I am never going there ever again! It was like a setting from a horror film!!

Good place to stay, but i was alone in a single room really far from the reception and the hostel was empty so it was kind of creepy. Excelent location I had a great view of the castle from my room's windows

I visited Carcassonne in the middle of the winter - the low season. There were not many people around at the hostel and it seemed too quiet. But, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were warm, there is a sink in the room, and bathrooms/toilets available just around the corner. The toilets were clean, but I was a little disappointed about the shower space - could have been cleaner. The hostel is located at the foot of the entrance to the citadel - literally only several hundred metres away.
