Transfer of calls to the room was not working. No internet in the floors/rooms, only in reception and restaurant. Wifi very slow, at times could only take one user. One staff was unaware about how to process the payment and was ignoring that my credit card had already been credited a partial amount - despite me showing the Hostelworld booking details. Later, another staff sorted it out. All staff, however, was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The place looked wonderful on the outside but a bit shabby on the inside. The main downfall was the fact that you only have 24 hrs total of internet and it could only be used on one device.

Hotel is old and run down, carpet in room is very stained and worn out, for 50 euros a night this place is way overpriced?

The staff was indifferent towards the problem of its customers. The carpeted floors of the room did not feel to be cleaned for a long time. The hotel breakfast was over rated compared to the kind of food provided.

Don't have big expectations. This is just roof over your head, bed and hot water in the shower. Worked great for us! Would recommend for anyone who needs a place to sleep on a budget.

The room was in need of renovation....the curtain rings were broken....difficult to avoid the people from peeking in!

It was good value for money, was not luxury but then you're not expecting that. It's location was brilliant and the staff gave advice when it was requested. Clean and convenient base to sleep and rest whilst out exploring.

It's OK... nice friendly reception, great location, and good value for money. Rooms are a bit grubby and walls very thin. Faded glory... probably was a plush hotel once. Stay here if you're not staying in!

Great for this price! Especially the location is good, right in the middle between the station and the beach. The rooms are quite nice. Only problem is that it's hot in the summer and when you have the windows open as we did there's a lot of traffic noise. But again, for that price... And also the breakfast is not included, but I don't see that as a big problem, you always find a cheap café nearby and there's also a couple of supermarkets not far - and a fridge in the room! :)

Great location. A few blocks from the main shopping street. The beach and the old town are also very close (5 min walk or so). Aircon didn't work in my room, but luckily it wasn't necessary as my room was quite cool anyway.

Decent hotel, however the locks on the doors were not very good and you could hear everything through the walls.

The rooms were filthy, stains all over the carpet and ceiling, I even found a box of cigarettes left over from former users of their rooms. In terms of facilities, all the things that they mentioned on their website were not what they seemed, the hairdryer looked like a machine from the 80s but even worse was their wifi. It's practically non existent and it didn't seem to work for anybody that was trying. To top it all off, the staff were rude and didn't care at all when we asked for help.

Good considering the price. Location was the best aspect, the rest was fairly average. Shower was broken and service shabby.

This hotel is pretty average but the location is un-beatable. It is quite close to the beach and the train station. The hostel (hotel) staff is quite nice, especially the more mature lady, she always smiles and her attitude is very positive. That is really an add-on to this hostel.

The wifi situation is horrible. It is very slow and inconvenient that you couldn't pick it up in your room and had to go to a specific floor to use it.

Great hostel, clean and close to the Nice train station. Just a block from the biggest shopping avenue. It takes you 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach but it's not a big deal. This hostel/hotel givs a lot for its 2 stars. Couple-friendly, (might not be the best place for a bunch of lads to party in =)
