It was ok, you really get what you pay for. The neighbourhood is a bit dodgy just around the hotel, but just a few steps up the street you're in the middle of Montmartre with all the colourful caffes and bars and it's a really cute place just to hang around. Metro is right around the corner and Gare du Nord is walking distance away. All in all Paris is really not the safest place on earth and neighbourhoods like this one are quite normal, so nothing to fear, it's a decent place to stay !
