Just ok for a night. The building is really old and doesn't seem well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfy though, but security wise the door must be left open if no one in the room. The showers could use a makeover.

not recommended! Bad location, dirty kitchen, no atmosphere! There are a million better places to stay in bellavista or providencia, they may be more expensive but everywhere is in walking distance from there, you will save money on taxis. This was the only really bad hostel we had in three months in SA. Avoid!.

Good place, friendly staff - a little bit cold at night but it was winter. kitchen well equiped, close to downtown areas, museums, parks. Cools bars in the area. surprisingly comfortable beds. only downside was tempermental hotwater system.

It was not very clean.

For one night absolutely suficiente, wenn missed a little bit the cleanness in this hostel but over all the price makes this hostel attractive

A nice enough hostel but very quiet and staff aren't overly engaging when they're around. Very strong smell of air freshener which made me wonder what it was covering up. Nice big rooms and hot showers although they don't drain very well and probably need their pipes clearing. Located on bar street but not too close so it's not so loud. OK for a short stay but seriously lacks soul.

Though a bit hard to find, this hostel is only short stroll from downtown and value for money is great. It was perfect for 2 nights.

Small but cozy hostel. Comfy beds, nice living room, cool outdoor space.

when we stayed there the female bathroom wasnt working so we had to use the other one. it got really bad when we realized there was snail by the shower. also the rooms weren't very clean. wouldnt recommend staying there as you can find better/cleaner hostels for the same price in the area

Lovely little hostel, looked after us really well and staff were really helpful :)

I really enjoyed my stay here. All of the people were extremely friendly, helpful and nice. If I go to Santiago for a long trip I will definitely be staying here again.

I think the price is affordable for backpackers and dwellings according to the space. The kitchen is important for sociability between people and access the Internet as well. The cleaning complies with the requirements, but need to improve Hostel of the shower baths that are congested when several people bathe the same time.

The location is nice, ten to twenty minutes walk to town, staff is really nice. It's a bit cold in the hostel though. Good value for the price anyway. Thank you!!

The bathroom leaves a little to be desired but has hot water. Allows good interaction with other guests.

This place is cheap for reason - it's very basic. If you don't have much money maybe it's a good place to stay. The staff were nice but they weren't always available - so then guests would answer the door. The wi-fi works fine & the showers are hot. The kitchen is very small and only two of the burners on the gas stove work anyway so it's difficult for 2 people to cook at the same time (there's no hot water in the kitchen sink but you can boil the kettle to wash dishes). No breakfast.

Average cheap hostel. Very cold in winter time. On the day of check-out part (entrance) of the building has been collapsed, so fire-brigade help me to get out.

This hostel is cool place to chill and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're home! No complaining about a late check out or something like that, it's a really cool place and helpfull staff :)

It`s a really cool hostel with nice people, cool travellers and a relaxed environment! Rooms are nice and cheap, it has a fully equiped kitchen, a place to watch TV or play the guitar and clean toilets. The neighbourhood (Barrio Brazil) is really local with friendly people and grafittis everywhere! The park (Plaza Brazil) a few blocks away is a place to relax and the metro station is 2/3 blocks away. You can walk towards the city center (about 10 minutes) or just take the metro.

We had a great first stay at this hostel, & returned a few weeks later to find things had gone downhill somewhat... the hostel is really cold - there's sufficient bedding, but the kitchen, bathrooms and common areas are uncomfortably cold. And although the staff are friendly, they are just never around! The facilities are clean enough, and the dog is cute but needs to be trained - pooping in the kitchen and yapping loudly and often is not exactly ideal! Hot water, good kitchen & comfy beds tho.

Very nice atmosphere, well equiped kitchen, recommended for those who tend to spend some time in the hostel and appraciate homelike atmosphere. 20 minutes on foot to the main square, 5 minutes to the big supermarket.
