Staff were nice, food (breakfast) was a bit bad. Also found myself waiting up to an hour to get in the shower, ended up just waiting outside with my shirt off and a towel to ward off anybody else! Great location and very clean rooms.

Overall it was ok, but so quiet, and nothing is one to create a nice atmosphere. The place was well cleaned up every morning, but from time to time a cockroach would come out in the main dorm. Also that dorm has no door, just a curtain, and you get woken up at breakfast. Backpackers are not supposed to need a good sleep ? The rooftop terrace is really nice.

Couldn't have been less impressed. Was welcomed with the bare minimum attention. Was expecting a hostel, but received a hotel with a single shared dorm. Bad bathroom facilities. No communal area besides the upstairs which wasn't worth spending any time in due to the terrible atmosphere. No one wanted to speak to anyone. Even the plugs in the walls to charge my phone were difficult to get to. No security besides a 'luggage room'. Not worth it if you're looking to be social or comfortable.

I liked the hostel as a whole but was not a hostel where I would recommend friends. Hostels in the past have been helpful in assisting tourists with information while this hostel was voiceless besides information in payment. Although I did like the hostel, the main downside was lack of community and communication with the customer.

very pleased

Few of the staff members went out of their way to assist us during our stay.

There was no door to our 9 person dorm and it went right into the lobby so people were having breakfast in the lobby from 7am which was a bit noisy.

We could not have a a shower as the water was cold. The cleaner told us when we were leaving that we have to switch the heater on. We were never told in advance.

The staff were really friendly, central location, decent breakfast, cool old building (which was falling apart), and the room was cheap. There was only one bathroom on each floor with one shower and toilet in the same room, which meant there was always a line-up. There was also zero atmosphere and no real common area to hang-out, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're hoping to meet people, but it was cheap so I can't complain too much ;)

Charming, great value, and amazing location.

Receptionist was bright and helpful. Dorm was average, though I got the single bed :) Very clean except for the bathrooms, two of which were out of order and the other was in disrepair. The combined toilet/shower might be a problem for large groups. Location was good, but and hidden from the street. Breakfast was average, but common room was very small. I imagine the private rooms (of which there are many) are nice. A little steep for Spanish prices. Good stay though!

The atmosphere was not nice and it was really cold in there!

Nuevo Suizo made our trip excellent! Definitely recommend this hostel.
