Nui. Hostel & Bar Lounge Reviews

I had an amazing time at Nui Hostel! The bar is awesome (try the green tea and tomato beer ;), perfect place to meet a lot of interesting people, either fellow travelers or locals! The staff was very helpful. The dorms are comfortable, the bathroom was clean, definitely would stay here again!

The double room was really nice and comfortable. Though, I had to change into an 8 person dorm for Saturday night. This was not fun as each bed has their own lamps and people decided to leave theirs on all night. Frustrating to sleep. Also the bathrooms are co-ed, which i didn't really like. This is probably one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in though.

Great except you're allowed to smoke inside downstairs at night and it tends to travel up in the lifts.

Had a great stay at Nui, the staff is super helpful and always warmly welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, safe hostel serving excellent food and drink!

A really cool place to stay at. Rooms are a bit small but the common areas are very wide and welcoming : it is a hostel made for you to meet people and not to stay in your room! There are lots of young friendly locals, it looks like a confidential lounge bar. The staff is very nice. The only downside is the elevator that cannot be used until 9am.... tricky when you have luggages!

Nui. is great! The bar downstairs really helps in meeting people. The beds were comfortable and it's really close to the Kuramae station. It is a bit far from the nightlife areas of Tokyo (Shibuya and Roppongi), but easy to get to for day time activities like Asakusa temple. I'd stay here again.

I stayed for 3 nights at Nui Hostel and it was pleasant. I love the hospitality of the staffs, the cleanliness, the excellent interior at the lobby, everything. The female dorm is very clean, tidy and spacey. I love Nui and would definitely stay here once I go back to Tokyo. Oh, gotta try having hot coffee in the morning at the lobby!

Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in Asia and I've stayed in quite a few! The staff were super friendly, the bathrooms were very clean and the beds are great! There is even a bar downstairs if you want to meet and mingle with the locals or other travelers. You can not hear any chaos of the bar downstairs either! I really recommend this hostel if you are staying in Tokyo!!!

Very cool atmosphere, nice having a coffeshop/bar on the first floor for late nights/early mornings.

Excellent atmosphere, great staff, very clean, good coffee and beer at the bar. Close to Kuramae station. The bar is a great place to meet the locals.

This hostel is really amazing, an excellent atmosphere, friendly guests and warmheated staff. I loved the lounge/bar ! It's the ideal place to meet people from around the world ! Thank you NUI for this unfogettable stay in Tokyo !

Great staff and great atmosphere

Awesome hostel, the facilities are great and the staff were extremely helpful with organising a bus as well as recommendations of where to eat and go for a night out. The bar area downstairs looks great, only complaint would be the drink prices which might make some prefer to buy drinks at the 7/11...

I've traveled in Japan for a month, been to many places, and this is THE BEST hostel I've been to. The staff is really friendly and just cool people. The bar downstairs is awesome for meeting locals and other travelers, and also the kitchen upstrais is great and well equipped. Had a really good time in the common areas and met great people. The facilities are top-notch. Too bad it's not more centrally located, but Tokyo's transportation is amazing anyway. I will definitely come here again!

Very new hostel, nice artsy vibe with a bar/cafe, high ceiling, open air, people are very nice, easy to meet fellow travelers. The bathrooms are in amazing condition. The 6th floor resident-only common space is a nice, quiet get away with views of Sumida River.

Had an absolutely amazing time at the hostel! Warm, friendly staff who made us feel so welcome! Will definitely be back soon :)

Location is very good, close to metro. Helpful staff, the really do their best to support you.
