This hostel was spotless, in a quiet neighbourhood on the edge of town, and had alot of ammenties like a roof garden, vending machines, sort of lounge/dining room with no furnishings, small garden. Average breakfast and service, good lockers. Good value. Location is a long bus ride away but the hostel makes this clear before booking. Also the hostel lacks soul/character?!

I've spent 3 days at Nuovo Ostello di Bergamo in September. Best I loved the view at the top of the hostel and the dining/living room. The breakfast was boring after 3 days but it was all right. I stayed in a shares bedroom, and had bad experiences with the room mates. One of them coming home after 1 o'clock midnight totally drunk and waking up everyone. I haven't slept much that night. I know this isn't the hostel's fault, but it is a memory connected to it.

The hostel is really lovely with good facilities for luggage storage, getting information about Bergamo etc. The staff are reall helpful and friendly. The roof terrace is a nice place to hang out and enjoy the sunshine.

Excelent Hostel! It's very clean and fun, it's also very easy to make friends there. The breakfast was very good as well. However, the best part of the hostel was the personnel, the recepcionist is very friendly and charismatic. I really recomend this place.

there is no access to the kitchen, there is no possibility to use cutlery, dishes, no way to cook a dinner or prepare a coffee; reception closes at 1 AM, there is noone in case of any issues/problems.

Very nice hostel, although it's a bit apart from the city center but they offer simple meals and a variety of pizzas. There are also vending machines. The room was spotlessly clean. Simona at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The only thing that didn't go so smoothly was not the hostel's fault: the airport transfer guy was almost 20' late to pick me up. I had still time, but if you book the transfer bear in mind it's still Italy outside the hostel!

This hostel was good the lack of competition in Bergamo obviously made them a bit complacent. I stood at the front desk forever before someone helped me, and the "airport shuttle" turned out to be a ride from the owner's nephew or something and his buddy in his buddy's car. They were also 2 hours late picking me up. But it was clean and breakfast was included and like I said, choices are slim. The bus that takes you straight to Citta Alta literally stops right outside though which is nice.

I really liked the hostel. It had the ''friendly'' touch to it. especially the recepcionist. He was kind and smiling all the time. He helped me with the questions I had and explained everything to me nicely. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm a ''family room'' as they call it and by enetring it I had a pleasant surprise...the room had it's own shower and toilet. More than I was expecting out of a room for 19€ per night :) It was great to spend a night there and will for sure do it again. Marjan Priveršek

We only had brekfast, but it wasn't very good. The coffee or cappucino tasted like instant coffee, and the bread was extremely dull. furthermore there was no cheese or meat.

Nice but a little far from the city centre. Good thing that there is a bus just outside going straight to the old city.
