We spent only 1 night but we will remember it! :) First impression was a bit strange, it , a tall bold man sleeping on the couch, no body around but a nice room with a bar, a beautiful billiard table and a very good interior decoration which made me feel in England! The man sleeping turned out it was Steve, the manager of the hotel. Very nice guy and very helpful. Giving many good advices and help us to find a backpack I forgot in the Taxi! Thanks a lot O'Malley and all the best for the future

For a quick one night stopover in Phuket Town on my way to the beaches, this hostel worked out great. The owner is helpful with any questions you have and is quite a character. There is an attached bar with a pool table if your looking to kill some time. Overall, good value for your money.

I liked: great value for you money, fun pub with firendly owner, near pier to/ from phuket. Keep in mind: far from party and ornbeach. Its. Good choice if you want a cheap night away from te touristy scene, or are stopping on night through phuket

Owners were great and the place was as excepted for a backpackers in Thailand. Location was great for my group as we are not into the overly tourist scene. Once again can't rate the owners high enough really helpful

We enjoyed staying in O'Malleys because of the warm welcome and the great advices of the staff. They want the best for us, explaining tricks and nice paces to visit. Defenetly great!! Rooms are simple and clean, very good place in terms of quality and price!!! Adri & Lio (bcn)

Total dive. Where do I start... No toilet paper or soap in bombed out toilet. Beds were flimsy and squeeky childrens bunks. No aircon in room. Staff ripped us off on drinks. Dont bother, everyone we spoke to couldnt wait to leave.

Fantastic value for money, cheapest in Phuket Town by a mile. Would definitely stay there again. Had great days utilising the advice of the owner, and top nights chilling at the bar. As long as you adjust you expectations to allow for the fact that this is budget, not luxury accommodation, you will have a great stay.

Steve is a great oke and is sure to help you get whatever you need in Phuket. Had such a good time, ended up staying three days longer than planned

Dont be put off that Steve (aka Mr Burns) has less hair than Duncan Goodhew, he has a great place at O Malleys. Place is clean and has a cool bar downstairs with pool table. All very laid back and a good crowd of locals ,just help yourself to a beer and tell Steve what you had and pay whenever you want Oh and the full english brekkies are amazing , I munched 2 (and if you say you love Manchester City you get 50 baht off! ;)
