About O-yado Sato
We are newly opened this spring, 2009 and located on the central Kyoto nearby JR Kyoto Station.
As we renovated the building of Japanese wooden house, 'machiya,' you will experience more Japanese classic atmosphere in our guesthouse.
All rooms are no-smoking Japanese style with futons / yukatas and you will have free internet, free coffee/tea, laundry services and rental bicycles.
What's machiya?
Machiya is a traditional wooden townhouse found throughout Japan and typified in the historical capital of Kyoto. You might think that the roof is a little low or the wall is a bit thin in the room. However, it is because of its traditional structure. We hope you use our facilities politely in order to preserve our traditional house together.

Very close to a major Kyoto Station / city centre and easy access to most of the toursit attractions because of the subway 'Gojo' and bus stops nearby.
