The hostel was in a great location only about 5 mins walk to the main square and was clean and tidy. The guy who owns the place went out of his way to help us and make us feel welcome and spoke fantastic English. Really recommend this hostel to anyone wanting to stay in Ouro Preto.

Washington and his assistants have done a great job setting up this hostel. He was very helpful directing us throughout Ouro Preto. The dorm we stayed in was quiet and clean. Overall, I had a lovely experience at this hostel and as it is still in its infancy, I are sure that it will develop into a great place to stay in Ouro Preto.

Ouro Preto was my favourite part of my Brazil trip, and I'd stay at this hostel again if I went back. The staff in particular are very friendly and helpful, and clearly proud of their hostel (an attitude that's all too rare...)
