Clean & has all the amenities that you need (English-speaking, helpful staff, internet computers, washer/dryer, and convenient location. Rooms are simple, compact, well-maintained, & clean. Near Rail & Subway stations. Simple, clean, safe hotel in a convenient location. Chat with fellow travelers, read through the extensive library of Japan guidebooks, browse the web, and then see Tokyo again the next day.

VERY KIND STAFF, GIVING INFORMATION ABOUT THE CITY AND RESTAURANTS. MAYBE, THE ROOM WAS TOO SMALL

Had a double with a private bathroom. Small but it was very clean and they provided everything we needed. It kind of felt like living in an RV. Woke up with a few bug bites more than one night. Staff was really nice and I really enjoyed my stay. It\'s also conveniently located right next to a train stop (1 block from Ginza Line) and a 5 minutes walk from the main train station (Ueno Station).

No real good common area so very little interaction between guests. The shower was really good hot and with a lot of water pressure

This hostel is more of a hotel as the name implies. Rooms are fairly small, as such is the price. A maid will clean your room daily. Location is great, about 10 minutes from Ueno station, which is a central hub for NE Tokyo, and the area nearby the hotel has plenty of interesting places in a short 10 minute walk.

A very nice place. I have been on four hostels on Tokyo and this is the best. The staff is nice, the room was cleaned everyday if you wanted, they give you a internet pack to connect with your laptop and the security was excellente. A+++

Very nice youth hostel, very easy to find! They provide free internet access and you got a bath in every room! Only my room was little messed, but that's not the fault of the hostel staff...

Very cheap and does the job as a base camp for sightseeing, but not good for meeting travellers, no common room or anything like that
