By car:
- if you come from north: motorway A1 exit Modena Sud, then follow the road-sign for Vignola and then fro Fanano and Sestola through the Fondovalle Panaro road. Then come on to the Docciola bridge direction Montese; once reached Montese follow the road-sign for Maserno. Alternatively you can come on to the Chiozzo bridge (3 kms after the Docciola bridge) and follow road-sign for Maserno (this alternative itinerary is recommended only during the symmer season).
- if you come from south: motorway A11 exit Pistoia, then follow the road-sign for Bologna through the Porrettana road. The follow the road-sign as follows: Porretta, Silla, Gaggio Montano, Montese, Maserno.
