This is a great hostel. I stayed 1 night in a four bed dorm, it was clean with big lockers. The staff where very helpful. i did the Tapas tour from the hostel with Lara, it was great, we went to 4-5 bars and it was €12. In the last bar extra drinks and tapas where €1 each. i was a solo traveler, this hostel was good fun and really easy to meet people. I was up early before breakfast, 15 min walk to metro to Malaga Airport, €1.70. good security in the hostel and good value restaurants close by.
Showers are hot with good water pressure. The staff is fantastic. The place is cozy and very homey feeling. And the beach is only a ten minute walk. Wonderful breakfast. The night activities are rowdy and so much fun. They also offered work exchange - changing beds for a free night. Niiiiice.
Receptionist did not seem interested in checking me in when I arrived at 1pm as I was getting in the way of her lunch.

The staffs weren't very nice in fact some of them were quite rude when I asked a question. It doesn't seem like they clean rooms and bathrooms everyday. On my last day the bathroom was unbearably dirty. The wifi only works in the lounge. Other things like kitchen, atmosphere and facilities were fine. They do have a lounge bar upstairs which was very nice. I just wish there were nicer and cleaner.
Compared to the atmosphere in oasis Granada, there is no atmosphere here. They don't have their own bar. And the rooftopbar is way too fancy for a hostel.
Well located in the center of Malaga and astonishing roof-top bar. A small minus point would be that two dorms are located directly behind the kitchens, so it is a bit noisy in the morning in that rooms.
I had an awesome time here. Great staff. Great location.
enjoyed my stay, helpful staff & cool roof terrace bar
Hard to say it wasn't a good hostel, but not what you would expect in terms of vibes and party hostel. The rooftop bar is not owned by the hostel and open to the public, quite a posh bar too and expensive. They had green carpet and bouncers at the front door through reception for the bar. I think it would have been better stay if more people where checked in and more involved with the activities. Staff could have been more friendly and put more of an effort in (except laura).
Good hostel, not as good as the one in Granada though
Great hostel, though I spent only one night. The staff really helpful and friendly. The cleaning was good. Good location, near to the Town center and beach. Tapas's night. Really cheap, definitely value for money.
Very nice hostel. All facilities were clean and spacious. The only thing is that it is loud until very late at night.
Great hostel, I really recommend it !! A lot of people, nice atmosphere, good security. Only what boders me is that food from the fridge few times dissapeard.
Very neat and clean...I had awesome time in this hostel..go for it...
A wonderfull hostel if you´re traveling alone or with friends! The rooms are clean and big enough. There are many activities in the hostel, so you will find it easy to make new friends. It is located perfectly in the city centre. - not far away from the beach ;) So you have the opportunity to see all the beautiful sights of the city or just to lie around at the beach. Thank you :)
Really good stay, staff made my stay! Great location. Winner!

The Oasis family of hostels make sure You have a great time. I stayed at Oasis Palace Seville and Oasis Malaga and have backpacked UK, USA and Spain and would easily say Oasis is definitely one of the Top places to stay. Oasis Malaga was great. Greta ( The Dutch staff member, who I think is the events co-coordinator ) works VERY VERY HARD at making events fun. I remember asking her if she does 18-20 hour shifts a day. She's always there!! :) Great work Oasis Malaga and team!!
Nice hostel in a very good location. Staff is helpful. Facilities are ok (four computers, but no towel to lend any more on my arrival day). Nice activities (Personnally I had the Paella course and dinner and I would recommand it). The bar on the roof and the custumers are more classy and does not really fit with the youth hostel customers. Bathroom are insuite but there are also additionnal bathrooms, good point. Rooms are really noisy, not ideal if you planned to sleep and wake up early.
Everything was great, nice new facilities, maybe could stand with a few more knives in the kitchen. Cool place, bring earplugs though, music and party is all over.
