GOOD: An extremely clean hostel, situated right in the historic centre of Malaga, with really modern facilities (bathrooms, shower, etc.). Bathrooms is en-suite (for 8-12 people, depending on room) and there are 2 other bathrooms downstair. Has 3 floors + terrace upstairs( open to the public), and an excellent modern elevator- they encourage you to use it! The staff is professional and friendly. NOT SO GOOD: Prices, free city guide which costed money at the end

Location was perfect and close to everything, including the beach. The staff was great, friendly, and helpful with tips, directions, and offered a nice tour. The hostel was very clean compared to others, and has a good atmosphere.

Hostel was in a great location, staff were very helpful though with only one person on the desk it can be a bit of a wait during busy times. Rooms were huge, the 4 of us stayed the four bed dorm and the facilities were really good. The night we got the hostel dinner was really crowded and even though it was all you can eat, I don't think they planned on as many people as showed up. Excellent hostel all round though, very good value for money

Really nice hostel with a really friendly staff. Kitchens weren't the cleanest I've ever seen and the beds weren't especially comfortable. But for the price, definitely worth it. I would go back.

It is a nice hostel which is located in one of the best areas in Malaga, directly in the historic centre. The staff was nice and the rooms clean (always depends on your roommates, too). Excellant for people who want to meet new people or party.

A very fun atmosphere. Great place to go if you want to get to know people and go out a lot. Staff was friendly. Rooms and bathrooms pretty dirty but I guess that is expected if there are 8 people to one bathroom. Cold shower and dirty kitchen. but if you can get past that it's a good deal for a fun time

I loved staying at the hostel! The only negative was that it was pretty loud all night long and the breakfast area was very crowded/sloppy. However, I would DEFINITELY stay there again.

Worst night's sleep of my life. The set up of the hostel is very poor, so that the rooms open directly onto the common area, a space with a very high ceiling so that all noise echoes upward. The night I stayed music (and drunken behavior) went on until well past 2 am. There was an odd light seeping into the room from useless windows, and the kitchen area was far too small given the size of the hostel. There was no culture of courtesy, so that guests felt free to chat at 3-5 am in the room.

I stayed in the hostel for one night only. When I went to sleep, there was a big problem: a very rude Englishman in our 10 bed dorm was snoring horribly so that no one in the room could sleep. By 3 I couldn`t take it any longer and went down to the reception to ask for another room. The problem was solved immediately and without any problems, I got a new bed in another room and was very happy. Great staff!

Oasis was really great! The place is very clean, is in a great location, and is a great value. The only thing was that a lot of people who stayed there were really far too old to be staying at a youth hostel and some of them were pretty creepy and made us uncomfortable.

Good location, just a few steps away from the main drag. Very friendly staff, check-in/out was quick and easy. Wifi was fast and also available inside the dorm. The room and common areas were clean, but the bathroom inside the dorm was quite dirty and the bathtub was clogged, it was not possible to take a shower. I stayed in room 5 on the first floor, but noise from the roof bar was clearly noticeable and disrupted my sleep. Otherwise, everything was fine and I would stay there again.

Hot water runs out around 11am to the detriment of those who are staying more nights who cannot shower for hours after.

Although it was a bit hard to find at first, once we did it was pretty easy to work our way back. The front desk was helpful and present when needed, and when there was a misunderstanding they were very understanding and went out of their way to resolve it. The patio area was a wonderful place to relax and drink, too.
