Situated right in the center of Malaga, but surrounded by little alleys, so I wouldn't recommend to go there alone by night - but that's the only negative thing I can imagine about this place! It was clean and exactly like in the description! The bar upstairs was so full with local party people that we couldn't go there but we found some nice guys in hang out area downstairs. They serve breakfast for a few euros also after check-out time, which was very nice. I would highly recommend this place!
Nice placer to stay. clean and safe. Not good if what you really want is to sleep. If you are up for party is pretty nice. Even there, I had a pretty good sleep (not that loud) and I had the chance to meet nice people.
The girl who first checked us in with the long curly dark hair was nice and helpful when we asked questions about the city, however was a bit disappointed with my stay. We came from oasis Seville which was great but oasis Malaga had no hot water, our door was broken so couldn't close to outside, there were no enforced noise restrictions and our room was right off the kitchen so we were kept awake all night. When asking staff about these issues always told "ill ask the manager" but no resolution
they only had the crappy combination locks left but they did have nice big locker bins under the beds so you could store your stuff away.. the rooms were pretty dirty & the showers were cold... some staff members also didnt really seem interested in giving out info...great location though
The hostel is nice with a bar on the top but it's very noisy and the air conditioning doesn't work so the room was very warm. Check-in was at 13:30 instead of 12:00 as shown at hostelworld. It's a party hostel, there were people talking loudly at any time. It was expensive due to Feria de Malaga and summer time I think.
this is a party hostel with good atmosphere, a bit overprice compare to other hostel in Spain.
We visited Málaga while "Feria", not the best idea! there were no activities at all, no Pub crawls, no day trips nothing! really disapoining. Also the roof top bar is NOT REALLY PART OF THE HOSTEL! we were really excited about this place but up there you have to pay the drinks at the bar (a drink is like 8€) and can't bring your own, like in the rest of the Hostel.(but at the reception you can buy beer for 1.50€)Also there are only older rich spanish People from outside the Hostel.

Great location, secure, clean and the staff is friendly! I definitely recommend it!
I stayed here during Feria so they werent running any activities and it was SUPER loud, but I assume its a bit different any other time of the year. The wifi did stop working for about 24 hours which was annoying. 3 Euro breakfast was definitely worth the money. Great location and fun rooftop bar. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice enough hostel, but the bar on the roof is open to anyone, and there isn't much of a common room.
Good Party Hostel (pub crawls/drinking etc) - there were always lots of activities etc on in the evening. There is also a really good roof top bar and the location is really good. Highly recommended if you are after this sort of thing
Very noisy! Till early morning 5am in our case so unless you want to stay out its not a great hostel to stay at!

Great hostel, have already recommended it to a number of friends.
Pros: great location, friendly staff, 20min walk to the 'beach', fridges in each room, able to meet lots of other travellers, 3euro for bacon and eggs for breakfast. Cons: noisy, air conditioning only worked intermitently, communal areas are hot and stuffy so you can feel confined to your room, rooftop terrace is open to the public
Very nice hostel. The staff seem very organised, there are different activities each day, and usually people play drinking games from around 10pm in the 'courtyard' downstairs. Bring your own padlocks, otherwise your stuff is easily accessible to other people, though all the rooms are key-carded. There is plenty of noise, due to there being music downstairs and a bar upstairs for tenants and visitors alike. Some people might have had a problem but I slept fine. Bit of a walk to the beach though.
Staff very friendly and welcoming, rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Kitchen and free tea/coffee was also a nice touch, cheap breakfast excellent. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to all!
The staff is really nice, the location is great, a lot of different activities to do each day. With the activities you make a lot of friends everybody talks english and some of the staff talks also spanish. It is a really socializing hostel.
amazing staff - so helpful. plenty of entertainment and crazy people at night. location - perfect! nice and central! room very comfortable with air conditioning and very clean. thank you guys for the stay
I thought the hostel was great. Brilliant atmosphere and staff were very attentive, welcoming and informative. There were cool activities in the evening and you were never short of things to do. It was in a perfect location being only 15 mins walk to the beach; 20-25mins walk to the central bus station and the city right on the hostels doorstep. Would definitely not hesitate to book there again and highly recommend Oasis Malaga. As for the noise situation, from my limited experience from staying
