I have stayed in a few different hostels around europe and this is my favorite so far. The staff are awesome, the common areas are awesome. Lots of space to chill out and meet people. No tv, only music so if you are alone it is easier to meet people without the distraction of a screen. Love this hostel, recommend 100%

This place is wonderful. During my first night there I went to Barrio Alto with some people I had just met and stayed up until 4 in the morning talking about Greek mythology. This is a great place for lone travelers like me to meet other people. Not only does the hostel serve excellent three course meals for 7.50 each night but also has a plethora of other amazingly fun activities lead by their undeniably awesome staff. This is literally the best hostel I have ever stayed at.

Wow, I can't say enough good things about this hostel. Great staff and people around the place. The only bad thing I could say is that the rest of my trip to other places won't be as much fun. Take in mind that this is a very energetic place. If you are looking for relaxation this might not be your place. This hostel is amazing. The best I have ever stayed at. The staff will become your friends in a matter of hours. The bar inside is always fantastic and the professionally cooked dinners are delicious. The common room and patio make it very easy to meet other travelers. The atmosphere here is alive and friendly. I can't recommend this hostel highly enough. If you want a great time in Lisbon, stay here.

I came to lisbon alone for 3 nights at this hostel. I checked in, paid, dropped off my bags and went on a tour of Castelo Sao Jorge. My boyfriend surprised me there by flying in from the USA and asking me to marry him. After saying yes!!!, we returned to the hostel to collect my bags and bring them to the hotel he booked for us. Needless to say, I didn't stay at the hostel but they would not give my money back for the first 2 nights. Minor damper on a perfect day. Thanks for nothing Oasis!

24hr reception really helps me a lot as I arrived at Lisbon early in the morning. The staff is really friendly and wonderful. They provide the guests with many useful information and solve our problem. Just one minute away from the hostel, you can reach the view point where the bridge, Jesus statue on the other side of river, and beautiful scenery over the city and bay can be seen. Also, it has a big outdoor yard where you can relax or talk to new friends.Great value and service of this hostel.

Could not have been more pleased! Very clean and up to date facility. Way better than my expectations for 10euro a night. Bathroom had just been remodeled the day before I got there. Staff are beyond nice and helpful. They all know the city and its history very well. The food tour one night and the traditional Portuguese cooking the next were to die for. I'd recommend this hostel to everyone.
