A good hostel with plenty of common areas to chill out and watch TV or surf the net. The hostel is in a good central spot and there's parking for 6 cars out the back. The kitchen is really good and the rooms are clean. Quite a lot of beds packed into a small room though. The X-box that they have doesn't work and the guy that was there to check us in wasn't all that helpful. I've got the feeling he was just left there by the hostel owner without much training so it wasn't his fault.

I stayed 2 nights at Ocean Packpackers. The first night I think I was the only guest so I had fun reading. The second night I met another guest at breakfast so we swapped travel experiences. The hostel could provide a few more books. I left a Ruth Rendell thriller for the common pool. This explains why I have left a blank in the Fun section. Everything else supersonic and I greatly appreciated the use of your carpark for my moped for the night when I was staying across the road. Bridgett
