Although there are a lot of long timers here they are all great people and are willing to give you all the help you need. Lee in the cafe down stairs is a great guy and makes a mean burger and chips.no bottles only cans which means you can't have a decent beer but you can sit on the beech instead if you want.the weekends are like a blur when you go PARTY TIME! Wednesdays sizzler night is a great free food night too

Amazing hostel, I would definitely recommend and stay here again! Staff are lovely and helpful, they offer cheap discounted rates for longer stays and are right on the beach which is beautiful! It's very easy to meet people as everyone hangs around in the courtyard in the evening! Definitely stay here if you come to Perth!

Great location for the beach and easy to get to Perth via bus or train. Room was nice and big and cleaners in everyday. Just a shame the kitchen was so small, it was difficult to make food with so many people wanting to use it at same time. Also could get a bit noisy in the evenings, but otherwise good.

Rather noisy, back packers seemed out of control, in the coridors and the and the beer garden. The room could do with air conditioning, and sound proofing

Basic accommodation. Could do with a re-furb. Ok for a couple of nights. Don't expect nothing amazing. Great location though and if you need to get the train when you leave they offer a free shuttle to the station which is a nice touch. Overall an average stay.

I arrived at 1am in the morning and was told that even though I booked for 3 nights I could only stay one because I'm Australian. When I went down in the morning to sort this out, I was told to wait 10 mins for the manger to arrive for her shift. She was over an hour late. In the meantime the man working decided to let me stay. I never saw/spoke to the manager. everything else was fine, besides the railing on the top bunk being against the wall instead Of on the outside.
