Dirty toilets, never any toilet paper, lazy and fed up staff. Felt like the beds were going to cave in (assembled from really thin timber). People watching television until 3am right outside our room. Booked 3 nights but only stayed one. Would not reccomend, not value for money

All showers were cold, not a point during the hot daytime, but in the evening a hot shower is appreaciated. The 12 pers dorm was the smallest we've been all three months, way too small for twelve persons and all their luggage. The hostel was very crammed.

the rooms were tiny, and still had 9 beds, stacked in triple bunks. one of the employees came in whenever she got home drunk and woke us up, poor social area, and activities organised were almost non existent. would rather pay a little more and stay in a beter hostel.

Very nice staff, quite ok location, good atmosphere. But I am not sure that the owners ivested too much in the hostel. Simple old house, tooo many beds in small place. Value for money? Maybe in current Rio situation but not in my home. Anyway overall impression is good. Not because of facility. Because of guests, staff and athmosphere.

Great staff, had lots of fun, good location, a short walk from the beaches and really close to a number of restaurants and eateries. Good place to meat people!

location is terrible. It is 20 min (minimum) walking distance from the beach (Leblon) and for everything you must take a bus. Staff can be quite lazy, but always in a good mood. If you are a single girl and travel on your own, I would recommend to pick another hostel... maybe located more in the center of Leblon. For a group of guys i believe it is ok..

We are the only hostel in Rio with ocean view that are not located inside a favela, we have a great view from the ocean and a patio with a barbecue place on the top of the ocean. From the hostel to sheraton beach takes 3 minutes and to leblon beach takes 9 minutes, I used my clock to write this numbers down. We got single girls here all the time and we never had a problem, we are in the safer neighbohood of Rio. We have buses that stop in front of the hostel and take you to any part or Rio. Cherrssss.

A party hostel for sure, might be too loud for sleeping if you are not planning to go out at nights, but also has good company to rock the city with. Has lovely monkeys to greet you in the mornings and a delightful view of the ocean in the backyard. Rooms are very snug, but there are lockers for backbags.

A hostel without party is like a soccer match without the ball, LOL. We do party a lot at the weekends. We are glad you liked and thank you for your reply.

Dear guest we made this barbecue to show you the real brazilian barbecue that make part of our culture, without any profit reason, we got the bill from the market and split from the number of people and provide the cooker for free as a complimentary service for our guests because we treat everybody here as dear friends, but unfortunately you went to Mac Donald´s and didn´t experience the great barbecue wich everybody liked a lot. Inside our rooms we have a locker for each guest that fits the entire backpack and some more stuff, we always ask the guests to leave their stuff inside the lockers but unfortunately some people are very messy and leave their things all over the place, and we are collecting their things there are not in the locker and putting in a bag daily to maintain the room organized. Sorry for the music but we do party at the weekends, this is hostel what is a social eviroment where we meet people but if you stay in a hotel you will have a quiet place. We have a maid that comes every day and always replace the toilet paper so I´m sorry but is hard to believe that we don´t have toilet paper. We are glad at least you liked the staff and our great coffee.Cherrrsssss.

Decent place - if a little off the beaten track on the road out of Leblon. Fun for New Years, and also didn't try and rip people off (5 day minimum 200 reals per night etc) which was refreshing.

Great place to stay in Rio. We arrived the hostel and got the room very fast and relevant information of our surroundings. It is very near a great beach and quite close to Leblon beach. The staff were great and the owner has a habit of taking his guests out to great places to party. After only a day we already felt more that we were staying at a friends house and not a hostel. Nothing I would change bout this great place:)
