It is a very good place to begin or end your vacation.It is close to the airport,the staff is very friendly and helpful,it is clean and it is just a short walk to the beach!We really enjoyed the stay there!Thank you very much!

The most important thing for us as it turned out was that the staff were VERY helpful when we had a problem with our airport bookings. And they didn't hassles us to buy tours etc.. The room was great and the location good.

A great place to stay on arrival or before departure. Its very close to the airport and almost onthebeach which is miles of sand virtually empty whenwe went there. There are trips and excursions to,do,from Negombo and thehotel staff are very helpful when it comes to getting stuff organised. The hotel is a bit on the "basic but clean" side but is very adequate and affordable or a short stay.

Although booked 2 months ahead owner claimed to be full and showed us a room 1 km away which was awful, we insisted he give us our room which he then did. Just as well since the other place above a pool-room, was closed for xmas.

Very friendly staff and great location. Felt safe! It is loud because of the street, but this is something we have seen everywhere in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend it!

Hostel has a really nice location in the middle of the small Negombo, on the main road with shops and restaurants. Everything was close, from beach to centar of the town, with tuc-tuc or without. It has also a nice alley and a clean room. It wasn't new, but for me the most important thing is that it is clean and tidy. The owner is a nice guy, with the rest of the stuff we had a little bit of language barriere, but that was actually the funiest part of our stay. Recomending!

Stayed at Ocean View on 2 occasions for 1 night each time and is in the Negombo beach area near the other "tourist" hotels. The first night we stayed in a downstairs room which had its own outside area to sit and the second night we had an upstairs room with a balcony with hot n cold water..There was free WIFI which was a bonus and overall a good place to stay for a day or two

It's an OK place to stay right after a long flight. Later when you travel though Sri Lanka there will be better and cheaper places.

This hostel was a great place to stay. The staff spoke very little English, yet they still managed to be helpful. It was also close to the airport and a nice gateway to begin travels to Kandy or the south

Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice and helpfull with tipps and recommendations to plan our futher trip. Location is situated in second row to the beach and approx. 7 min. with TukTuk from central bus station or 25 to 30 min. walk from city centre Negombo. Thanks for the nice stay.

We stayed just for one night, but it was a very pleasant night. Good place to stay if you have a stopover in Sri Lanka or if you want to spend a few days in Negombo. We especially enjoyed the quietness at night, the cleanliness, the helpfull and friendly staff and the very good breakfast. The city center and the beach are within walking distance and there are also some nice places to visit in the neighbourhood by tuktuk. Good value for money!
