The hostel was nice, clean but nothing amazing. There was a large group of school kids there for the first day's which was a bit annoying but once they left it felt a lot better.

Was good, close to tram and restaurants. However, only one key per dorm which meant we had to leave door unlocked at night for our roomies. Bit unsafe for females alone I think. Also, locks on bathroom/shower room would be good.

We had a great time at your hostel and will be using it for the future . One thing which could improve the stay at your hostel would be that you are more aware of the people who make noise during the night - it was sometimes too noisy . thank you pj and franzi

Stay here if you like to shower in cold water and to be woken up at 4am by people screaming in the corridors. There was no hot water when I stayed here. I spoke to the staff about it and they told me that it was because there was a group of 62 people staying and they all showered at once. No apology. Only one key for a whole dorm of people. This means that the door is always open, so it's very insecure. People just wandered in and out of the dorm.

Bold Canadian/american man was rude. Bold European man was nice. Oh and the kitchen hob wasn't very good.(3% percent charge for debit cards was ridiculous.

I was unfortunately only in Berlin for a very short time, so didn't get to experience either the hostel or the city properly. My one night there was uneventful, but it seemed like there was a good party atmosphere and plenty of people looking to have a good time :-)

This place combines possibilities of good night rest with enjoyable atmosphere in the bar, thanks to the no drinking in rooms policy, very good. Besides, you couldn't find a beer for a better price anywhere else. Breakfast was also very good value for money, although jam was the only vegan spread available. Friedrichshain is the place to stay if you like hanging out on trendy east nostalgic pubs.

I have been backpacking for 5months now, and don't usually complain about hostel, because well lets be serious there hostels not HOTELS and your paying a cheap price for a bed. Unfortunetly this place wasn't the best. The wifi only worked in reception area and always turned off so u would have to reconnect. It was so slow you couldn't make any phone calls on skype etc. I knew that there was no kitchen at the hostel but they wouldn't even put something in the fridge for me. Rooms are dirty!

Pleasant place, staff is helpful, nice breakfast. Rooms are simple but clean. One remark though, prices at the vending machine are a little high for the product. Would stay there again!

This hostel has good facilities and a cool atmosphere. The big bedroom is actually really private which is nice. Watch out the kitchen isn't open until 10 am which pretty much forces you to buy their breakfast. Also the staff don't really seem to care about the customers. There was a flood in the bathroom upstairs and when informed the man at the desk said to wait for the cleaners the next day. Also there should probably be more than one key for the 22 bed room.

We felt the hostel was in a good location. It was quite clean, but they should really provide clean duvet covers, because it's a bit gross using the same duvet as the last guest. It was -3 degrees the first night we were there and the heater was broken in the room. The staff were not helpful at all, and they just didn't seem bothered being friendly or helping. The second night we had to insist on moving rooms. This staff member was helpful, and we were moved but only after one FREEZING night.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great bar reception area with pool table and 1 euro beers (large during happy hour). Staff pretty good with advice. Main issue is the large groups that get booked in there, so don't be surprised if 30 school kids flood the place. Kitchen should open much earlier, seems like they want to force you to have the breakfast they sell. Like my travel photo page guys: http://www.facebook.com/CapturedAbroad :)
