There is one key per room, last to leave the room locks the door. Its not bad, you dont have to sorry about losing a key. Common room is good, has a pool table and good atmosphere.

Great location and atmosphere. Really nice staff. Can be cleaner, specially the bathrooms

If wasnt for the bed bugs it will be a good hostel.

One key for each room which was frustrating. Some staff were helpful. Had to give ID to get the key for the kitchen which was also frustrating for every time you wanted to make a cup off tea or use the microwave. Over all good stay though

First hostel I've stayed in where you must pay a 3 euro deposit for sheets. Also found it really strange and very annoying that there is only one key for an entire dorm. This meant that the door was never locked or if it was locked others had to be woken to get into the room. Staff were a bit weird too. Pretty clean and good location but wouldn't stay here again.

Great location, great common area and breakfast - this was a really cool hostel. The one key per room system was a bit annoying though, and I found the staff to be a bit hit-and-miss. Overall I loved it though, I'd definitely recommend/stay here again.

Great place with awesome staff. The 3 euro breakfast is a good price considering what you get for 3 euros in a restaurant. Would love to come and stayour again.

First of all. The is number of things that need improvement. There is only one key to each room which is supposed to be hung on 'key hanger' and returned to the reception by the last person leaving the room. However no one downstairs says that. During our stay I saw the key once only and the room was open all the time. Another thing is no tea in the kitchen. And? Thats all! Cool staff, spacious and clear rooms, incredibly practical lockers under the beds, excellent kitchen and PERFECT LOCATION!

Good hostel, perfect location in lively neighbourhood Friedrichshain where you can find plenty of good restaurants. Tram and metro station close by. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Really liked the location, lots of good resturants to eat at in the area and close to tram line. Our room was clean and neat and staff were helpful!

Close to a variety of restaurants

This hostel was not what I was expecting. It was too big, more like a hotel, which made it harder to meet people. It was a nice location though, close to Berghain, Suicide Circus, and other clubs. Any questions I asked the staff, they were very unhelpful and couldn't even recommend any places to go for good nightlife. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were nice, but I did not enjoy it.

Decent breakfast for 3€, good wifi and hot showers (no place to put your things or get dressed though), not the best location (far away from tram or trains), easy directions from train station by bus, staff not so helpful or nice, poor security with one key per room, bedrooms were not cleaned everyday.

Very cool hostel and great all around. One thing they could improve--as a green hostel I think they should be more cognizant of the cleaning products and incense that they use and find products that are all natural and not chemically based.

One of the most pleasant hostels I have ever stayed in. That wouldn't be possible without the staff, who had an obvious readiness to help. A perfect place to experience "alternative" Berlin, with a multitude of suggested activities and of course parties. The common room and garden outside make for the perfect place to meet fellow travelers, perfect if you are on your own. What did it for me though was the warm and friendly atmosphere - a cool spot to stay in a thriving city. Bis bald!

I had a horrible stay here. Berlin was the last stop in a trip where I went to at least 6 different hostels and it was by far the worst. The place was dirty and the staff was incredibly unfriendly. I got bed bugs and they handled it terribly. They blocked off the area I was sleeping in but did not move my things. They were also very unapologetic and did not reimburse me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice and big rooms, the sanitary was clean and a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Hostel is stayed in the partying centre of Budapest but it is not noisy. Furthermore after 11 you've to be quiet and if you want you can sleep. And it's not annoying if you don't want
