Had a wicked stay here, we even extended it by two days because Berlin was so much better than we had expected! Stayed in the 22 bed dorm and it was lovely, clean, felt private. Apart from a few annoying room mates we had a really good stay! Enjoy :)
Night staff VERY rude. If u dont like to deal with people dont work in a hostel!!! Kittchen closes at 10?? Wtf?? Lugagge storage closes at 6?? It a nice hostel but i just dont recommend it i wouldnt stay here again.
Very comfortable beds, tons of warm showers, couldn't possibly be cleaner, and cheap beer. The atmosphere is a weird mix of people wanting a nice place to stay, and people wanting to be at what you'd expect of a hostel with a bar. There was often large groups of chaperoned students on class trips filling the common areas, but was also able to meet the regular 20-somethings travelers looking to explore Berlin night life. Pool table and good music in the bar area are a bonus.
Good wifi in reception only, great value breakfast, pretty good atmosphere (but there were a lot of guys when I was there?), made some good friends, great location. Zero privacy in the showers, like no shower curtain and holes in the dividers so yeah hopefully you're comfortable with your body.
First of all, congratulations for the design of the 22 bed dorm, it was more comfortable that some 4 bed dorms in were I have stayed. I had a good experience with this hostel, they have good facilities (good kitchen btw), a friendly staff and a good location. Nothing more to add really, I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Berlin.
Ok hostel, not the best not the worst I've stayed in so far. Most annoying thing is the one key rule which I believe is very unsafe. Beds are comfy, rooms spacious, bathrooms clean. No real social hostel atmosphere tho when I was there, really hard to meet other travellers when travelling solo, unless they are in your room. Annoying: you need to get a key from reception to use anything electronic in the kitchen, even if you want to make a cup of tea. Not sure if I'd stay again, nothing special.
Good hostel. Pretty clean, big rooms. Weird and annoying last-person-returns-dorm-key system. Should just be upgraded to modern access card system in my opinion. Also handing over ID as deposit for keys to activate kitchen appliances is a pain and the only place I have ever been to that does this.
This hostel was perfect for a lone traveller such as myself - really easy to meet people in the bar area. I was on a research trip and during the day the extended bar area was good for working in too. The rooms were basic but clean and the bathrooms were also the same. Really great atmosphere in this hostel - and the 3€ breakfast was also good.
The bunk beds were a little flimsy and squeaky. Sound carried down the hallways very easily. Breakfast was great, easy to meet other travelers.
This hostel was really unique. Stayed in a large room with lots of bed but felt private. Appreciated the light and charger with each bed. Bathrooms were good as well. Close to metro. Would stay again. Got in early and they were very accomdating. Thanks!
Great hostel, friendly people, cheep beers, nice accomodations. Also great for solo travellers to meet new people!

I had a great time at odyssee!! Traveling alone I try to find hostels where I might be able to meet people. It was no problem here, and when I first arrived and wanted to sleep, I had no problem with that either. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and the hostel has a good character to it. Definitely recommend!
A very calm and quiet hostel during the day, a fun atmosphere at night, great staff, clean rooms, showers and toilets. Great hostel!
Good breakfast! Shared room key was fine. Having to borrow a key for the electricity in the kitchen is just ridiculous though. I had a cold and left 4th floor to heat some water for my soar throat but had to climb all the way up and then down again to get a deposit for the key. Easy meeting people if you want to party, but also fine if you just want a place to sleep. Big hostel, so it's possible to stay anonymous. Not the kind of place where people will blame you if you don't join the partying.
Good hostel, great kitchen. Noisy, walls are very thin. The wifi is available in the rooms but very hard to connect. An enjoyable hostel to stay at
Great hostel, decent breakfast, good happy hour and priced drinks, friendly staff, hot water for the shower, reliable wi-fi. Stayed in the 22 person dorm but it wasn't one room with line after line of beds but the beds were compartmentlised into little sections which was good. If I was looking for perfection the sliding cupboards provided in the dorm were a bit loud and could do with maybe rubber wheels to reduce the noise for the consideration of others else you feel like ya waking everyone up!

Great atmosphere and bar/common areas. Also some of the higher quality hostel showers I've seen. The nightly recommendations for local shows were great and I don't think I could've found a hostel in a better location.
A friendly and lively hostel, you won't be bored. With all facilities you need.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the hostel provided loads of information of things to do and see during the day and also great nightclubs to go to and what was on. The hostel had a really good, relaxed and friendly atmosphere! I would definitely recommended it on and even possibly return!
