Good hostel. Hard to find better in Berlin.

Great hostel, loved the reception which was also a good bar with cheap drinks. Bunks were good though a couple squeaked (maybe need tightening?). Staff were very helpful, though I couldn't help feel sometimes that they were judging you sometimes. Maybe this was because I came home once and danced half naked in reception. Or perhaps it's a German thing. The Aussie guy was the most friendly staff I've met in a hostel. Much more relaxed and helpful. The kitchen not opening til 10am is poor form.

It was a little out of the centre, which was a pain given that it was -6 degrees, but was definitely a cool joint, with great staff.

i would say, one of the best hostel we had in our 5 weeks trip in Europe... Clean, quiet, friendly and helpfull staff... Free wifi even in our room. Cool bar downstairs. We'll definitely go back again and recommend it to everyone!

Very nice hostel! Cool rooms and hall, clear bathrooms and showers, friendly staff. A bit strange rules for using electricity at the kitchen, but it's bearable =) I've been in room for 22 persons, but it was very good, divided to blocs, so not much people around. Also I've met a lot of cool people there, so I recomend it to young travellers!

Odyssee is one of the best hostels we have visited. The rooms are spacious and cozy, the bathrooms are very clean and the staff in the reception is extremely friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings and the cheap beer in the atmospheric reception in the evening time. The hostel seems to offer all the services a backpacker needs.

Though our room was decorated really nicely, the halls felt like a hospital and were very badly lit. There was only 1 female toilet on our level. The most annoying part was the key system - they give you a big bulky key and you must leave it at reception. When you pick it up you often have to wait quite a while after people check in etc to get it, such a time waster! Also pretty far from the city centre and sights but located in a okay neighborhood. Easy Side Gallery is approx 15 min walk.

The hostel was quite homely with its own small bar, a pool table and small games area with foosball and a television. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the staff also pleasant. The showers were a little invasive as there was no doors nor curtains, simply open spaces in the bathroom which anyone could easily walk into/ view. Aside from that, the internet access was good and the location fairly convenient.

Hostel is quite nice. Showers, rooms and toilets are modern and clean. Hostel was not very full, so bear this in mind. Hostel staff was friendly but not very sociable with guests. Biggest issue for us was the ever present cold. Although heating was turned on, the Berlin cold entered the whole building through the single glass windows and cracks. Think this was one of the main reasons why almost nobody sat in the lobby.
