The service was excellent. One of the staff members helped us figure out the phone number of another hostel for our next destination and another one drove us to the train station even though the shuttle service they had hadn't started yet. They go the extra mile to make sure you get the best stay possible. Facilities are good and the onsen has a great view of the river and mountains. Highly recommended.

WOW! This place is so amazing for the price! We had a beautiful mansion of a Japanese-style room, free tea and appetisers and yukatas to wear at the luxurious free onson! Just be wary, this is in Gero in Gifu prefecture, and not in Gifu town, but Gero is lovely!

Warm and welcoming hotel.Staff very friendly,managers very professional,kind,speak English and will help you with anything.The western style rooms are OK but a bit fusty.We had a very nice Japanese style room-spacious with balcony,mountain and river views. The hotel Onsen is also excellent. All in all we had a really relaxing stay here and would definitely recommend the hotel.
