The rooms are clean, spacious, and lovely. It's a great plus that guests can use the nearby public bath for free. The staff were very helpful and kind. The directions on this site were not actually very useful. We asked at the tourist information office by the station and they pointed us in the right direction.The rooms are clean, spacious, and lovely. A bit over priced, however most things in Hakone seem expensive. The place was clean and the rooms are nice Japenese styles. Very clean Ryokan with a good welcome. The traditional breakfast is very good and I advice to try it!!
I enjoyed the bedroom in a Japanese style. A little bit far away from the train station... Very clean Ryokan with a good welcome. The traditional breakfast is very good and I advice to try it!!

Very clean, nice big room, friendly and helpful staff, you can use their bath privately anytime and they give you a coupon for a bigger onsen around the corner (very nice). I would recommend you contact them before hand to include dinner and breakfast with your stay so you don’t have to look for one in the evening. But we went out and had a great time with the locals at a nearby place (the hotel manager made reservations for us).
