The staff was very helpful. The food was great especially dinner. I would definitely recommend it. They also give their guests a one-time free voucher to a nearby onsen. That was really great.

We loved this place from the moment we walked in. The man was very welcoming and helpful. The place was exactly what we expected it to be and the photos are very true to what you get. Ohmiya Ryokan is a cute, little place to stay if your looking for an affordable traditional ryokan experience. From Hakone station you can either catch a mini bus from the info centre for 100 Yen or walk 15min (uphill) and with a Hakone free pass it was easily accessible on the bus route to lake and transport.
