Tiny room, without window and the smallest bathroom we've ever seen! Shared toilett had more of a cubby so ask for a room with private bathroom. Don't expect too much - it's a small place but we think average for Hongkong! Location is perfekt for a short stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful and provides any kind of information about transportation, sightseeing aso. in and outside of Hongkong.

I know its size is normal in HK, but it was unbelievably packed. If you\'re really social person, ya, this location is so nice for you. Everything\'s around you. On the other hand, it mean it\'s really crowded and hectic. Even the staff is not able to speak English well though, he really tried to be nice. I really liked it. :) The hostel was average though, I might get a hotel instead next time!

Rooms are small but very cute and have everything you need. Helpful and friendly staff and great location close to MRT and food and markets. Will return here when I pass through Hong Kong again.

:) i wish i had a 19"(or larger) flat screen LCD TV in my room with better reception, instead of the obsolete, cubical 13" TV w/not-so-good picture on most of the few channels available. Also, I'd like to suggest that they replace the worn-down, thin pillow case & the bed sheet for better comfort. Then, i'd be very happy there. The staff was Wonderful & very helpful. i felt safe staying there. The location is convenient. Thanks!

The location is excellent as it near to Mongkok and MTR. The staff is extremely friendly especially Ellen. She is nice and approachable, and you'll find a lot of travel info from her. The hostel is clean, and i have no complains. Thanks for everything.

The staff were very helpful when we asked for advice and help. They also try to accommodate our needs and accede to requests. One of them even offered me snacks that she bought! The rooms and facilities are basic, as stated in Oi Suen guesthouse's website. I think they manage guests' expectations well.

First of all, dirty linens and pillow case. Secondly, room was so small, my feet were almost sticking out of bed and I'm only 5 feet tall. They call it Ensuite room, hilarious. You can't sit on toilet as there is no space in front of toilet and wall. You have to sit sideway, weird position, ha ha!!! I've never seen that small room with toilet in my 20+ year of traveling and staying at Hostel type lodging. Expensive at 40 USD per night and they require you to put 100 HKD for key deposit.

If you\'re at all claustrophobic, be sure to ask for a room with a window. The desk attendant may not speak English, so be prepared. They have a list of items on the wall in Chinese and English that is quite helpful.

The staff was as helpful as they could be, but the language barrier proved to be difficult. Even "check-in" seemed to be lost to the mother-son team manning the check-in desk. It was fine once we got past that. Sincerity Building can't be better located! Three minute walk to the Mongkok MTR Station, Lady's Market. Lots of cheap, good food and the Flower Market in the area. I loved this location so much that I stayed in 4 different rooms just to stay in this building.

If you are a solo traveler - I do not recommend you book at this hostel. The single room is like a prison. The bed is encased by three tiled walls and the city sounds that filter into the room from the exhaust pipes are echoey. The bathroom is also so tiny you can barely stand inside and close the door. When you do manage to close the door - I hope you\'re not claustrophoic. Otherwise - it is a very clean hostel and the staff are friendly and offer assistance. The double occupancy rooms with windows are

Fantastic service! Ms Ellen was very helpful and friendly, flexible to re-arrange the rooms and provide us with a larger room with a window. Very good security for the room. A little small, but we expected this. Good surrounding area, close to Ladies Markets, Mong Kok station and Argyle street. Thank You!

The location is great but it was quite costly. At $200 per night for a very small basic room (although it was during high season), we did seek out other locations once we got our barings.

IF you like showering over a toilet, a persistent mildew-ey smell, and sleeping on a bed with sheets that haven't been changed this month, Oi Suen is the place to go. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear pretty much everything that's going on at all times. The whole place could use a thorough power washing at the very least. The location is good, a block away from the Mong Kok station on Kowloon, but that's about all this place has going for it...

Great Hostel if you want great great location-in the middle of mong and very very near to the mtr :) if dont mind the space constriants and cleanliness.. but really depends on what standards you expect! Candy was great with providing us with the help we needed and extra blanket! and the pre paid cards! yea but we got mysterious bites there... not sure if it was mosquitoes or bed bugs... Hi Candy ! haha... from the three sg guys that stayed in the small rm haha...

With space being such a premium in Hong Kong you can't expect too much. Thankfully Oi Suen delivered where it needed to; I had enough space for me and my bag, a small en-suite shower and the whole of Kowloon on my doorstep. The staff were incredibly helpful and the pre-arrival directions they sent me were a real time saver.

The attendant, Ellen, is a very nice and hospitable person. The location is excellent because it is almost in the middle of Hong Kong where you can go anywhere fast. It was very clean as well and the price is very reasonable. I look forward to stay with Oi Suen again when i get beack to HK. Many thanks and best regards, Mr. Perlyn M. Bautista (Earl)
