A most accommodating staff, from the manager on down . It's a bit far from the airport, but the hostel itself is well worth it. Additionally, you are just about a 10 minute walk from a major shopping center. But, nice as all of that is, you're not here for that. They will happily store your luggage and check you out to visit their outstanding economy farm, and surely, that's what you're here for in the first place, am I right? To have that amazing experience, is what it's all about.
Great breakfast (cake, toast, fruit, plenty drink) good sized kitchen and decent location (close to campo grande great park). 4 bed dorm has air con, lockable wardrobe cupboards, comfortable beds. Staff were professional, didn't speak English but had Google translate ready! Lovely lounge/tv room! Atmosphere is very hotel rather than hostel...... Dull
Nice Staff and a very beautiful house :) Can fully recommend it !
We stayed here for 1 night prior to our Pantanal trip and found the facilities to be good/clean. The location is great - right by the main park (with the capybaras) in what feels like a safe/secure area. The staff was very willing to help (we needed to make a call in Brazil to a Portuguese speaker and they did it/translated for us).
Had a great stay at Oka. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect jumping off point for either the Pantanal or Bonito.
