I feel like you get a lot for what you pay, here. The beds are capsule-style, which means that pretty much all the light is blocked out when you enter. The roof is quite a nice space, and though there isn't a lot of room for luggage in the place, there are some well-size lockers available. Honestly, I have absolutely no complaints about this place, and found it to have a very chill vibe overall.
Great atmosphere, big common area, "private" dorm beds, perfect place.
We stayed 5 nights here and had a great time. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. There are a lot of Japanese people who stay here and this made the experience very authentic. They were great at including everyone in their activities and socializing. The place is centrally located right next to the port for easy access to the Kerama islands. You can't beat the value!
Ridiculously cheap and with a clear alternative/hippie vibe, I love this place to death. Capsule style dorm means more privacy, silence and space. The bathrooms are nothing special but adequate, common room and kitchen are very nice, and the whole place boasts a cozy, family atmosphere of cool and unique people.
The bad is much harder than a normal japanese futon and the room is hot. There are no divisions between the rooms, so can be very loud. But its cheap and well located.
Decent place to stay. Most of the staff are really friendly they even tried to help us find a place to stay when they were booked and we were stranded by a typhoon. The sleeping area is comfortable if you are okay sleeping on thin futons on the floor. However if you have a snorer, things go bad for sleeping quickly. If you snore, please don't stay at this place in one of the dorms, you will ruin everyone's night!
