The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was very open and friendly. It was a little dirty and the beds weren't so comfortable, but it was so cheap that it was easy to overlook those points. Everything is very basic, but it's enough for the price. They don't provide towels, so bring your own. The free wi-fi was nice. There is also a computer available, as well as a kitchen, lockers, books and video games. There wasn't any info about Okinawa (pamphlets, maps, etc) so get them somewhere else.

I had an amazing time staying at Kerama. Everyone was so friendly and helpful they really helped make my vacation amazing. Really good value for money. Great location a 5 mins walk from the ferry and 15 min walk from kokusai dori a big shopping street. I'll definitely be staying there when I return to Okinawa.

This is a dirt cheap DIY capsule hostel close to the ferry port for the outlying islands.

Very nice hostel, definitively worth the 1000 yen charged. Very nice mood, a lot of people meeting and having fun in the common room. Very near to the main street, good access to bars and basically everything (Tomarin port is 4 mins away)

Great value for the money!! This Hostel is maybe the cheapest in japan and is way better than hostels i paid 2000¥! In the other hand the location is not thaaat good the nearest beach is a swimming pool with a bridge! Aniway the island is small and u could be in the far north in 1:30 hs!

Great location and good price but the rooms are quite hot at night and theres nowhere you can really relax to read a book or something. Lots of Japanese people there so good to meet the locals and practice your Japanese.

It's ok, £7 a night so can't expect too much. But the toilet and bathroom were not clean. The beds very uncomfortable. Who knows who is staff/guests. The hostel staff are friendly but the only information about the island they provide a is a map on the wall. Not helpful. But it's all fine for a very short stay. We left early in the end.

I had fun staying at Kerama and making friends with the staff. Security seemed light, but I never felt unsafe. I'd stay there again!

Great place and for about 10 USD, an unbeatable price anywhere, let alone Japan. Friendly staff that speaks a good amount of English. They also organized a traditional Japanese hotpot dinner one night which was a great opportunity to meet other travels because I was traveling alone. Bathrooms are clean. Private showers. The beds are hard as hell though, that's my only complaint. Although there are many beds in each room, each bed was like its own capsule, and had a curtain for privacy.

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Naha, it doesn't get cheaper than this! The guy at reception was friendly and there's a kitchen available. No place to sit in the lounge except on the floor; lots of manga and some books available if you have some time to kill. The girls' dorm has a ton of beds. Some are cool capsule style beds and some are bunk beds with roll-down bamboo screens. It's a few blocks away from the Miebashi monorail station, close to some convenient stores.

You cannot expect more for 1000yen/night, but basically it's a hand-made capsule hotel, and I'm not sure at all that blankets and everything are regularly cleaned. Also, there's only one bathroom for girls' floor, and another one for guys'floor. There are no entrance keys. Anyway, staff is nice and welcoming and despite the poor security system no one touched anything of my property. Recommended only for very short stays.

The shower curtain and window curtains in the female section had months of mildew. The female sleeping area was very dusty. The atmosphere was good though. I also felt safe.

Not a bad hostel, it was a bit hard to tell sometimes who was staff and who was a guest. Beds have individual curtain, which is needed in a room with so many beds. Clean and great location. Reccomended. One point is the shower room was one big room with no dividers but multiple showers, I'm not sure if the shower room is for individual use or shared use...

Bare minimum bed (similar to a tube slightly larger), clean and comfortable. Hot shower and a laundry machine and dryer. Great for no frills travelers.
