Really great hostel! - Beautiful building, great layout, the staff are beautiful and more than happy to give you there time when they can... Most excellent rooftop terrace and great room kitchen area, both downstairs and on the terrace... roomy! really, the terrace is most relaxing... great place to a have a beer and gather your thoughts... And when you wake, you wake to the bustling flea market, and stores that line the street below! You can get anything! What can I say? STAY HERE!

The buildning needs reparation. It is a very beautifull buildning, but some of the doors to the balconies are falling apart wich is very dangerous. Some doors to the rooms can easily be open without a key. The man who do the cleaning is very very unkind.

Excellent hostel, one of the best I have ever stayed at, although there were little animals some places, however I imagine this is impossible to avoid in such a wonderful old building. I recommend it to people who wish an experience rather than a sterile place.

The Central sittinjg area would really be better if there was air condition. The outside top balcony was great but placing a bar at the top would be a plus.

Expect a whole lot more than what you could ever find in usual hotel and even other hostels. a vibrant hostel full of character both in the surroundings and the free spirited travellers it attracts. here you can fully embrace the essence of travel and share stories over drinks on the amazing roof terrace, or marvel at the sun setting on the beautiful jaffa beach down the road. it wowed me the first time, it as again and will do on my next vist. DEFINATE MUST

If you want basic then this is the dictionary definition of it! Pleasant but stressed staff, location good for Jaffa but poor for Tel Aviv. Noisy, hot, dirty - won't be coming back.
