Hostel staff were friendly but the men couldn't speak English! 1 girl was brilliant at English and helped book all our travel arrangements and halong bay! I guess value for money was good as was cheap but our room did have a funny smell!!!! And mouldy bathroom!

Nice little hotel directly in the center of the Old Town Hanoi. Ideal location for exploring the city, the nightlife and the pure atmosphere of Hanoi. Rooms are nice with big enough ensuite bathrooms. Furniture and mattresses are old and a bit run-down. The rooms to the front get the whole traffic noise from the street. Bring ear plugs! All in all good value for your money. The best thing is the ideal location in the heart of the city!

Green street hotel is located right in the old quarter in easy walking distance to the action. The guys picked us up from the airport and straight for the hotel. The staff were beautiful, friendly and so helpful. We booked are halong bay cruise wih them and were very truthful. Even though when I was in hanoi it was super cold 11 degrees their foyer had no heating however the staff always offered me a hot drink and had he opportunity to sit down and eat dinner with their family. Lovely people!
