The hostel is elaborately decorated, which impresses me very much. In addition, it is close to Liuhe night market, the most famous night market for visitors. The staff is kindhearted, too. anyway, I enjoy my stay there.

The place is a little difficult to find for the first time, but once you know where it is, the location is quite good. A 5-min walk to Liouhe night market, a lively night market with good food! Viola was extremely helpful and made good recommendations on where to go and how to get there. She also helped us get train tickets to Hualien. Room was basic with amenities like towels, shower lotion, shampoo and hairdryer provided. There's a small balcony where we can dry clothes and chill out!

Definately the BEST hostel I've ever stayed in. (And there have been quite a few!) Gorgeous little hostel with a roof garden and great rooms with bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable, very helpful owner, right by the train station, metro, and night market, and VERY cheap! The map on hostelworld.com is pretty accurate, but the hostel has no english sign... it's down a side street with a small round sign in chinese. But it's basically the only thing around that could be a hostel.

とても綺麗で親切。大満足。Violaさんは日本がしっかり話せるので情報も楽に得られた。 また訪れたいホステルだ。屋上にはすてきな椅子があってそこでタバコを吸えるのもいい。

A very impressive place to stay, the host - Viola is very friendly and helpful, she even took the initiative to look for us when we were late for 1 hour for check in. A place that is full of decorations that bring the Old Taiwan taste to the occupants. A highly recommend to stay when you travel to Kaohsiung.

Very spacious and clean, the lady that owns the hostel is so helpful and her English is great. She even personally took us to a great food place near by and translated for me while I got my pedicure. Definitely A+ service above and beyond you won't be disappointed. Try to book during low season and you will feel like the hostel is your own private home. There is also a roof top lounge which is great for reading or just chilling out and relaxing. Would definitely visit again!

The hostel is very beautiful, and near the great Liuhe night market, but if you want to go anywhere else at all you'll have to take the metro or taxi. If you don't speak Chinese or Japanese, this might not be the best choice since the owner doesn't speak any other languages (no English). For students of Chinese, though, this was great because she speaks very standard and lovely Mandarin. I'd recommend a private over a dorm, the ensuite bathrooms in the dorms were VERY noisy and I slept terribly.

Great hostel! Good English channels on tv. Sweet rooftop hangout spot. Nice common room. Very friendly staff. The private rooms are very nice traditional tatami rooms. Everything is extremely clean.
