Nice stay!

This hostel was by far the best I've been to in Taiwan. Viola is super friendly and really helpful. I loved the place and the atmosphere.

A great hostel. The hostess, Viola, was really friendly and the interior decorating lent a fine aura to the hostel. Only two minor negatives: the mattresses were a little thin, and I didn't see any storage lockers. Other than that it was great! Highly recommended.

This is one of the best hostels I ever stayed at. Great facilities, perfect location (close to the subway and night markets). Viola (the owner) is one of the kindest and warmest persons I have ever met. She helped me with everything: directions, suggestions where to eat and drink, plus many other things. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. I will definately return here.

Very nice hostel with very good location. The host spent a lot of time on making the hostel comfortable and warm. Everything is good, Viola is so nice and so wish to tell the old Taiwan history and culture. We had a very good stay there. Highly recommended. 很好的地點. 主人花了很多心思讓民宿更舒適和溫馨. Viola人很不錯, 招呼很周到, 也很願意分享台灣的文化和歷史. 我們過了一個很快樂的晚上.

The design was so nice and it definitely worth the name of Old Taiwan so anyone is fancy about old atmosphere is worth trying. The owner is very experienced and kindly suggest many useful tips, it was a nice stay.

Viola the manager is a nice person. The hostel is quite well organized. Actually, Viola has made many friends with her guests. The hotel was kind of international. I've met HKese EUese JPese... ... They live together like a family, naking salads together. It feels like a home of youth. Viola has a beautiful exhibition room in the hotel. you should spend some time there if you choose this hotel.

Viola姐人非常好。可以根据你想去的地方帮你设计路线。整个hostel充满了老台湾的气息，楼顶还有一个很棒的天台，一楼还有很棒的的文创区。有机会的话，希望可以去那边换工~~~

This is a great hostel, in an excellent location and Viola is a wonderful host. We arrived planning to stay for a few days and ended up staying for 2 weeks! Lovely rooms (private and dorms), fantastic communal area, good for meeting people and very helpful manager. I would highly recommend to anyone passing through Kaohsiung.

I know for the 1st time i read the direction, i should had asked the host for the MAP before i came. It's definitely not easy to be find. In fact,we still get lost one or two alley farther every time we weren't pay attention. Anyway ,the place is like one of your old home, which is cozy,warm and clean. Common room facilities are good. Wifi is good, amenities is quite complete. The only complain is ,it's quite far for MRT station,esp if you already run out of energy after traveling all day.

it was great place!!! If I go to travel in Kaosiung, it's coz of the Old Taiwan hostel. They are so kind. when I just arrived in Kaosuing, I didnt know where to go but they gave me lots of information which could make my trip perfect. And it's located between the beautiful subway station and the main Kaosiung station. and it's also near from the biggest night market in Kaosiung. it's clean and comfortable, everything was so perfect for me. But it's difficult to find this for the first time.

This hostel is clean and quite. The feeling of old Taiwan strikes you in every corner of the hostel. The owner, Viola, welcomes her guests with hospitality. She also provided us many useful information. Strongly recommend for families who have children. We will definitely go back to this hostel if we go to Kaohsiung again.

This hostel is AMAZING. I felt like home when I was here. I was a little scared about hostel but this is had changed my mine.
