We had a great stay! Donnie and his mom were super nice. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. It is just a few minutes walk from the bus stop in Old Town. We had lots of nice conversations and he even drove us up the hill for a beautiful view of the city. He gave us coffee, let us use their washing machine and drove us to the bus station when we left- not charging us at all! Highly recommend.

Old town accommodation is an excellent guesthouse if you are on a tight budget. Dzemal is an excellent host and makes you feel very welcome. Me and my wife wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

V Džemalovem hostlu je bilo stvarno super. Tu je samo srce Sarajeva - Baščaršija! Tamo smo se osjećali kao doma, Dzemal i njegova majka su stvarno gostoprimni i hostel ima stvarno pravi karakter. Kad ponovo dođem u Sarajevo ić ću u njegov hostel.

It was only for one night but the hostel was amazing! The staff were very helpful and friendly as they let us stay there after a long and tiring bus ride even though it was very early in the morning. We felt like in our own place so I highly recommend Old town accomodation. It is a clean and warm appartment with full of facilities such as kitchen, internet, laundry room and so on. In addition, it is located directly next to the Old Town and Dzemal is willing to help you with everything you need.

What you see is what you get in this case, and that is definitely a positive thing when dealing with hostels. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Sarajevo for two or more days, and I already have.

The room was simply equipt, but 100% clean. Jamal and his mother were very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied there. Thanks!

This is a little family-run business, clean and friendly, right at the centre of the Old Town. We aren't back-packers. My teenage daughters and I stayed there as a family. We had a room each and Djemal didn't accept any other visitors for the week because it wouldn't have been easy for us to share a bathroom with them. He's lovely, as is his mum. We'd never think of staying anywhere else if we went to Sarajevo again. We feel that we have made new friends.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and it is located directly next to the Old Town. it really was worth its money!

Most enjoyable stay. Accommodation was exactly like on the photos. The hosts were most hospitable, kind and easy-going. Location-wise was ideal - 5 mins away from the heart of Old town. The view from the balcony was also excellent. All in all, I would love to return there!

in a back street 5 min uphill from the Grand Mosque the location is very quiet yet still in the very center of Sarajevo. Staff is very, very kind and helpful. Roos are spacious, freshly painted, floors are renovated with their original beautiful wood makes. Bed is comfortable. Nice place to stay in Sarajevo.
