I enjoyed my time at the hostel very much!

I was very impressed with the staff here especially. When I checked in, a staff member sat down with me and showed me all of the important things I needed to know on the map of Tallinn, gave me restaurant recommendations, etc. The electricity went out once, but it was dealt with promptly.

Old Town Alur Hostel has the best location in the old town. You can reach everything within a few minutes by walking. The Staff is very friendly and helpful regarding any advices for your trip. We booked an 2 bed room so we had an quiet, restful and good sleep. Only on the last of 4 nights, when we had to get up very early, a kindergarden/school group arrived and they were very noisy. The cleanliness is ok, shared toiletts, showers and facilities are enough. The monetary value of a stay is top!

Very friendly personel! Liked those guys very much! The hostel is lovely and very well situated if you want to mess around the old town. WC are pretty clean, staff cleaned it every day. They also got pretty nice kitchen with all the dishes, forks and stuff like that but we were eating outside anyway.

Old Town Alur is right in the middle of Old Town Tallinn and close to anything you could ask for. Alur is lacking a bit in character, but makes up for it in value. If you're a couple or a single person looking for a nice place to stay, this is the spot for you. Many bars on the street and the block adjacent, and a quiet night's sleep. If you're looking for a more lively hostel with more activities and group oriented atmosphere, maybe somewhere else. Either way, not a bad place.

The hostel is in quiet street and the location is good. If u only want to find a place to sleep this hostel will meet yr standard. The facilities needed to be improved. The toilet and bathroom are bad smell and sometimes dirty. Sometimes the drain runs out of water. Also, my room got bad smell, especially the location near the door. The poor sound proof made me hear the voice of the room of upfloor.
