Old Town Hostel Kotor Reviews

After staying, we are confused by how highly-rated this hostel is. Yes, the hostel has an amazing location, is newly- renovated and has lots of character. We found it a bit sketchy that staff would pass around shots of rakia and then someone would be right next to them aggressively trying to sell day trips, not cool. They also allow stray cats to walk around all areas of the kitchen, including in cabinets where cooking utensils are stored, unsanitary.

The staff was really friendly.

The hosts here love to party and its a lot of fun if that's what your in the mood for. Refurbished a couple of years ago the facilities are still great but I can see it starting to get 'tired' already. Cleanliness is ok but lazy. Great location, would stay again.

Had a wonderful time! Great stay.. one of the better boutique hostels you will ever find.. stunning setting in the heart of an old town historic building.. A great staff makes the stay special every night.. definitely the place to be in Kotor.. Don't hesitate... It's that easy.. :)

The best hostel i've stayed in. Everything is 100% but the staff really make the place something special. If you are in Kotor and you don't stay here, then you're missing out.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quirky little hostel inside old town kotor! It was pretty much perfect. Kotor is very small so the hostel was close to everything you need. We loved the common room, it was a great place to meet other travellers, and the kitchen is fantastic with its seaside theme and excellent facilities. Best of all was the staff, thanks for the mousakka and sangria! Honestly best homemade sangria we have ever tasted!! :-)

The dorms have lots of space and the owner is really nice. The alternating dinner and rakija nights (included in the price) were an added bonus.

I had a wonderful stay here with a hostel-full of friendly people. I particularly liked the 8pm events the hostel throws (the event on our night was a Sangria-night) which really adds a feeling of community to the place. Ross was full of great suggestions for places to go and things to do. I dont remember the name of the bar he led us to, but it was one of the most laid-back and relaxed bars I've found in Eastern Europe. The hostel definitely made our stay a very special one.

Awesome place in the Old Town to meet people and go out. Facilities are clean and the atmosphere is fantastic. My only knock is the owner guy tries a little too hard.

what an incredible hostel. One of the most amazing hostels I have ever stayed in . Beautiful decor. Comfy beds, Hot showers, Free towels, 5 minutes from Bus, In center of old town, was welcomed with a free meal, superb staff, excellent place to meet other travellers... DO NOT BOOK ANYWHERE ELSE IN THIS AMAZING TOWN- 5 STAR LUXURY

This is the first hostel I've ever rated 100%. Absolutely the best hostel I've stayed in. Location is perfect right in the Kotor old town which is the most impossibly beautiful place I've ever seen and the hostel itself is really pretty. After weeks of traveling the Balkans in March and staying in empty hostels I was amazed that this one was rammed every night. Each evening there was either free dinner or free drinks which got everyone together. I booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5.
