Good hostel, clean, great location, common room is pretty decent and if you want to go for a meal and few drinks the hostel organises that with a couple of other hostels which is good to meet people
Nice place in the city center. A bit more quiet than the partner hostels, which I liked. The dorms could use a bit more space.
If you're looking for a great hostel in Split, look no further, this is it. Though a little hard to find at first, Old Town Hostel is in a great location and right in the middle of the action. The staff (especially David) are incredibly friendly and more than happy to tell you all they know about Split and point you in the direction of a good time. If you're lucky, they might even join you for a beer after they've finished up at the hostel! Seriously, this is a gem of a hostel, don't miss out!
The staff were brilliant and so accommodating. My train didn't leace till the evening and they were more than willing to accommodate my late check out. The atmosphere was laid back and great for solo travellers
This hostel was amazing! It was my first time hosteling and first time traveling alone. The staff really put me at ease and were all lovely. The rooms are clean and the lockers are big enough. The hostel provides the locks and free towels. The location is perfect. Difficult to find, but the instructions to get there are perfect. I would love to visit again and spend more time there. Thanks!!!!

Nice hostel because its not that big. Rooms were quite small but workable. Kitchen could have used a good scrub. Staff helpful.
This is probably the best hostel you'll find in the centre of split it has everything you need and more (being able to relax in the lounge with pay TV was a big plus as I'd just done a week on sail Croatia) right in the centre of old town the location is perfect so close to the bus station, port and heaps of place to eat. Good wifi, clean place and well equipped kitchen. The staff were more than helpful with anything I wanted to do. Would recommend.
I love this place, although maybe it's better suited for younger people ;) Even if you don't want to socialise - you will! And I'll never forget the best-smelling sheets I've ever had in a hostel. The view from the window was amazing and I think it's impossible to find a better location in Split. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Fantastic location! Literally right in the middle of the old town, and in walking distance to anything you need! The staff were super friendly and helpful (shout out to David!). And the rooms were well air conditioned in the hot days! Could possibly do with one or two more bathrooms, as you did have to wait occasionally. Other than that it was great!
Everything about our stay here was super nice, everyone was really helpful and friendly and it's right in the heart of the Old Town which is perfect. Only thing is that there's only two showers so it's a bit of a wait in the mornings
This place was amazing. Just a really good feeling as soon as you walk in. Staff was friendly and answered all of my stupid questions. Good sized room, and def more than one bathrooms...
The hostel is in a great location and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's small but cosy and very easy to socialise. There are only two bathrooms but the facilities are good. There is also a nice little kitchen with plenty of capacity to make your own food and talk to people.

great location, great staff i had such an amazing time there
Really nice & small hostel. It feels more like you are staying at someone's house. Friendly staff, great location. A little hard to find because the old town is like a maze but it's all part of the fun! They organise a dinner with other hostels which is great. Rooms a little small but other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Very very good hostel. Located right in the middle of the old town and a few steps away from the main Riva coastline and restaurants etc. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, particularly Dave and Dora. The rooms were clean, had comfy beds and air conditioning that you were able to switch on and off. Good to stay as a solo or group of travellers with a great atmosphere and opportunities to cook food together in the kitchen or go on a group meal outing. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at!! The staff were so helpful and friendly!! Atmosphere was really good too and air con was amazing!
Great hostel with great lounge and kitchen area. Lovely staff. Clean. Bathroom was big. Great location and atmosphere. Only thing I didn't like was that because there were no staff members in evening, the backpackers let people stay on the couch every night. Would definitely recommend.
Good time here. Nice staff and the place is perfectly clean. Rooms are pretty small but you don't go to a hostel to spend your day there. Perfect location in the Diocletian Palace. Incredible historic place to stay.
Really, really nice place and an unbeatable location. All features do just fine for the price (yeah the bunks are a bit shaky/squeaky and they could do with a few more outlets, but whatever! They had everything you needed). Huge plus that towels and lockers were free and you get a map at check in with lots of suggestions drawn on for you. Just be aware that if you leave your luggage at reception, it'll just be behind a curtain and anyone with access to the hostel could have access to your stuff!
The family meal was really good!
