Great location, in the heart of old town. Restaurants, ATM's, coffee bars, and pubs are all close by. Freedom Square Metro Station is a ten-minute walk--one train takes you right to the main bus station at Didube, with Marshrutka connections to most of the places you would want to visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Small, but nice common area and courtyard for hanging out or taking a breather. More generally, Georgia is a fantastic travel destination--you'll love it!

Old Town Hostel its very nice place - good staff There is not to big social room and table outside, so you have no choice you have to join people who are having a coffee/tea/wine :) Great location - close to the best ice- creams in Tbilisi :) and very close to the Old Town so for siteseeing its fantastic place to stay. The only problem is that there is only 2 bathrooms so if there is a lot of people in Hostel you have to get u early to take shower or take part in "hunting for bathroom" :)

Small and well located. It´s a "fell like home" hostel. Staff is very friendly and have a good english level. The hostel has a quiet and friendly atmosphere. Perfect to meet friends and othe travallers. Not a professional hostel: don´t expect tour options or pub crawl. The staff can provide you info only if asked.

The athmosphere was very nice - staff so friendly - and nice travellers to meet. Only it is noisy inside the house - not the location. I would go again and already looking forward to .........

I've stayed at a lot of hostels, but there are quite a number of things that put Old Town Hostel over the top. I found myself a lot more at ease being in Tbilisi (and Georgia, for that matter) thanks to the staff. They are knowledgeable, friendly and unbelievably hospitable. I couldn't imagine the location to be any better; it's located right in the belly of the beautiful historic district. You absolutely must stay here.

Excellent location in the heart of the Old Town, all of central Tbilisi is easily accessible on foot. Friendly and helpfull staff. Facilities are good and clean. However there are only two bathrooms. This was no problem when I was there since I stayed at the hotel in low season. I especially liked the comfortable and cosy lobby - a good place to have some tea or Georgian wine and to meet other travellers and have a chat with the staff.

Old Town Hostel is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and certainly the best one you'll find in Tbilisi. The hostel is quiet, centrally located, has numerous amenities, and reasonably priced. The staff is also really, quite awesome. Very personable, knowledgeable, and high English skills. If you're going to stay in a hostel in Tbilisi this is the one to stay at.
