only me and one other person there so not a great atmosphere. Everything was being renovated downstairs. Staff member was there to check me in and I never saw her again. Bed was comfy, linen included. kitchen available

Some of the staff members were more welcoming than others, this hostel was a typical "youth hostel". This hostel is more ideal for travelers looking to party than for couples or someone looking for a quieter stay. There is a lot of action at all times, so the noise levels are often pretty high. The room was clean, but some of the facilities were not so much, the showers could have used a bit more cleaning. However the location was great, at the center of the old city and close to the bus station

I thought it was pretty gross that staff smoked in the stairwell. Not a nice "welcome!" at all, particularly in the morning. There was food on the floor of the kitchen crawling with ants, which is why I gave a "poor" cleanliness rating. The "luggage storage" is in a room that doesn't even have a door, right next to the stairwell that anyone can walk up. The staff told me "someone is always there at the desk!" - but that was categorically false. No one saw me pick up my own luggage.

We stayed in a private double room with my boyfriend. It was clean and fine, but we found that the price of 50 euros was really high compared to the disadvantages of th accomodation: shared bathroom, no towels, two separate beds difficult to join, no AC.

Perfect hostel, host was wonderful as well, very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and a great value for money (twin private was cheaper than most other destinations we travelled to!) and each floor had clean and spacious showers and toilets.

The hostel is located in the center of the old town, as such it is very convenient to travel around. The Wifi is pretty weak though especially if you stay on a different floor. Towels need to be rented and you need to make your own beds. There are no place in the room/toilets to hang clothes, hence it is quite inconvenient. It was a pretty good place to stay for a night.

We had a great stay at the Old Town Hostel! We enjoyed the prime location in the old town, comfortable & clean rooms, & the mostly friendly & helpful staff. We certainly wouldn't recommend the breakfast, but otherwise loved it there!

The location was second to none and the build itself was quite neat, but my stay there was honestly soured by the lack of warmth (or even eye contact!) from most of the staff. They just seemed not to care about the guests, except one girl who was very friendly and actually smiled at us. Despite the fantastic location and good price, I would pay more to stay somewhere more personal and friendly next time.

Had a great stay, helpful staff, very clean. Great location in the middle of the old town.

There was a lovely girl on reception when we arrived and who seemed to be there the most who was incredibly helpful and kind, she even told us where we can get our ears pierced!! She made our stay all the more enjoyable and comfortable! Great hostel you get exactly what they tell you on the website!! Very accessible and near to everything you could need!!

A fantastic location- right in the centre of the Old Town, and the hostel is worth staying in for this alone. Staff were friendly enough, and the breakfast was very cheap, though nothing to shout about. The room and bathrooms were pretty standard. We were on the top floor, excellent views however there were so many steps!

Great location but don't plan on a good nights sleep! There's no AC so the bedrooms are sweltering at night.

The hostel itself was great and the staff were really nce. Two things bothered us though. As it was extremely hot, the AC was kind of a neccessity but unfortunately our room (double private) had none. We only got one fan in the room which wasn't even close to being enough to cool the room. Thus we had trouble sleeping and got very little sleep. The other thing was the use of kitchen. There is a notice that the kitchen is for staff only but fortunately we managed to negotiate the use of it ;)
