Little very nice Hostel in the middle of the old town, stuff is very nice and the rooms are excellent for a hostel.

The worst place to stay in Tallinn. First of all we have booked a room for 3 persons in quad room, but we lived separately. When we arrived, the receptionist did not mention anything until we paid. So basically, when we paid, she said 'oh, sorry, you will have to live in separate rooms'. This was very disappointing. The hostel is not clean, beds are small and not comfortable. The worst thing - we have been robbed. 20 euros have been taken from my wallet and 30 euros from my friend's wallet.

I liked this hostel even i stayed there only for one night. Our room was for 4 people and it's large and clean and close to bathroom. Everything was clean except kitchen. There were a mess with unwashed dishes, full rubbish bin, dirty surfaces and a floor

+ Great location, pleasant common area, willing staff. - Our room was without window, unpossible to lock. To get to our room, we should pass through another room, quite weird.

Especially cleanliness and equipment of the kitchen should be improved to create a more inviting and cosy atmosphere. Signs with commandments and prohibitions everywhere and video surveillance create an athmosphere of mistrust which is not appropriate to a young and open-minded audience.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed in. We were put in a small 4-bed dorm with no windows, no air to breathe and darkness all day. In order to enter our room we had to pass through the adjacent 6-bed dorm with a creaking door, disturbing people who slept there. On the other hand, lockers from their room were put in our room, so they had to enter our room at various hours. There were not enough bathrooms and they were rather dirty. Some appliances (e.g. the fridge) were out of order.

Old town Munkenhof hostel was in ideal location but facilities were poor and unhelpful staff. Our bedroom was clean but the shower area up the corridor was not clean and tended to block and flood the bathroom area each time. Kitchen facilities were extremely poor - kitchen empty, dirty with few delph and utensils provided. A fridge was provided to travellers but this obviously was a problem as we had some of our own perishables stolen. Hostel takes money but traveller gets little in return.

Normal backpacking low budget hostel. Bathrooms are quite crowded in rush hours. Staff is nice, all common areas are big and comfortable. The dorms are OK, and my bed had a very good mattress, which is rare in dorms. Very well located. Good price-value.

The hostel is in a perfect location, has huge common areas with couches, tv and computers also a separate kitchen and dining room. The dorm was standard, the dorms are located on the ground floor which makes it exposed to noise and people looking from the street, but it's not a big problem unless you're sensitive. We booked as a group but got separated into two rooms, thankfully it was fixed the second night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A really good place for travellers.

The hostel is located in the very heart of the old town. For me it was huge advantage. The room was big enough and beds were comfy. What I didn't like was the number of bathrooms on the floors. There just wasn't enough and in the morning there was a little "hunting" for the free one. The other thing is the bathrooms' cleanliness. The staff could really work on that.

Very nice location, nice staff. A bit shame only have 2 shower rooms for the entire hostel though. Downstairs 4-bed room does not have a window so it was a bit dark. Otherwise, all is fine. Good value for money too.

Everything was excellent from the minute we walked in to the day we left. The accomadations were great and very, very clean and spacious for a hostel. Loved meeting people from all over the world.
